I have been working with Kristi McKennon for nearly 2 years on my personal injury case and we just wrapped things up today. My experience with Kristi and her staff was excellent from beginning to end. In the beginning, I was hesitant to hire an attorney but was encouraged to look into it because of the complexities of my case. Kristi and her office was recommended to me by a colleague as a firm that has a great reputation and does right by their clients in court. I knew from the first phone call with Kristi that we made the right decision. On that call, Kristi offered to meet at our home if it was more convenient for us due to the nature of my injuries and because she knew we had young children. She gave us her cell phone number and promised she would always be available throughout the entire process. Her level of client care remained that high the entire time. Today as I left her office we joked about how many times her and I have spoken on the phone, sometimes 2 or 3 times in a single day. She would call me with updates, to explain next steps or just to check in. Never once did I feel like I was unsure of where we were at in the process. From beginning to end, there was total transparency of what was happening with my case. Brenda Macias, Legal Assistant, was so incredibly responsive to any issues with medical billing. I have so much appreciation for Brenda’s promptness with handling the hospital, ambulatory services, doctors offices and three different insurance companies. Brenda’s efforts allowed me to focus on healing and recovery and undoubtedly saved me hours of phone calls fighting to get my bills paid. In addition to the exceptional client care I received, the outcome of my case was equally as good. Kristi’s efforts in fighting on my behalf with two different insurance companies resulted in a settlement much higher than I had anticipated and without ever having to go to trial. Flynn Merriman McKinney truly is an honest, thorough and compassionate firm. I am grateful to have had them on my team and cannot recommend them enough.
