I am changing my review because they refused to refund the unused portion of the fee as required by law.

This client entered into a flat fee arrangement with us. We fully earned that fee pursuant to the terms of the retainer agreement that this client (who also has a law degree) entered into knowingly and voluntarily. She was quite satisfied with our services as evidenced by her initial 5-star review from the first tenant we successfully evicted for her. Only after we successfully accomplished her goal of evicting a second tenant that had not paid her, without a protracted litigation process, did she come to us demanding a refund for services that were rendered. Not only did we accomplish her goal of removing the bad tenant, we saved her an incalculable amount of money on lost revenue that would have been incurred during the time it took the court process to run its course and have the Sheriff ultimate remove the tenant. We have offered her a reasonable refund amount as a courtesy, however, there was no "unused portion" of a fee as she alleges. Her modified review is nothing more than attempt to obtain a refund of fees she is not due.
