I would first like to start off by thanking Bob Giroux, he was my attorney for my car accident case. He did an excellent job and help take a lot of stress out of an extremely stressful situation. Both he and his staff were very helpful. He's extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to help you understand the process. Bob actually took my case over as I had started off with a different attorney with a different firm and I didn't feel confident in the way my case was being handled. I was referred to Bob Giroux from a neighbor who had a friend that was going through a similar situation to mine. Bob agreed to take my case over, which I'm sure was much more difficult for him then if I had just started out with Bob to begin with. Bob straightened things out with my case and figured everything out. If you're going through a car accident situation, I would highly recommend giving Bob and his team a call. Update: I was left a message that Giroux Pappas would not take on my case. I emailed them back, asking for reasons why as well as a referral (which they say they offer in each response to a negative rating). I contacted Jennifer several times, asking if they are not appropriate for my complaint or if my complaint has no legal standing. I have not gotten a response since the initial November 26th email denying representation from Jennifer Pearson. Being treated like I’m less than human has been a humiliating experience. All these lawyers advertise that they are upstanding and treat people with respect. If that were true, why haven’t I experienced it? Now I know why my father used to make so many lawyers jokes, being a lawyer himself. I finally understand why there is a stigma against lawyers. I’m so disappointed —————————- After first calling Beth Bernstein (with whom I went to school) regarding my medical malpractice and neglect complaint, I was in tears. I was treated so horribly by their receptionist that I felt completely defeated. Then, I looked up different medical malpractice and neglect lawyers who would be able to understand hospital trauma protocols and represent me. When I called Giroux Pappas Trial Attorneys, the receptionist, Allison answered the phone. I was still in tears from the horrible interaction with the receptionist from the Bernstein practice. Allison was incredibly warm and kind and took my situation seriously. She asked me questions and expressed real compassion and empathy. And when I started to cry because of my trauma, she didn’t judge me. She just kept her voice soft and steady and reassured me that I was okay. It was okay that I was crying. It was close to 5pm when I called and the attorney who would review my case was busy. Totally reasonable and understandable. Allison asked me for the basic information, and she guided me through my ramblings and tears. Allison told me that I should be contacted tomorrow regarding whether or not they are able to represent me. Even though I haven’t spoken to a lawyer, I am giving Giroux Pappas a 5 star rating based upon how I was treated. In our society these days, it seems that kindness and compassion have gone to the wayside. When I experience such a caring person, I believe it is important to publicly recognize it and share it. I hope that Giroux Pappas Trial Attorneys also recognize how fortunate they are to have Allison as a part of their team. As someone whose Ph.D. research was in motivation in the workplace, including corporate demography and how a companies thrive and survive, I know that a company will be treated by how they treat their customers. When my mom was injured in an auto accident, I contacted Bob Giroux. He was so thorough during our first phone call and I knew my mom would be in good hands. Throughout the lawsuit, Bob was always willing to talk to my sister and I if we had questions and always wanted our input, in addition to my mom's, when offers were made by opposing counsel. He handled my mom's case with respect and compassion and was always willing to offer an explanation for things we didn't understand. We never felt like we were just a number to him and he never rushed us off the phone. I am grateful for Bob's knowledge and expertise and for the outcome of my mom's lawsuit. My only complaint would be that I didn't get to see him in the courtroom because the case was settled before it could go that far and I really wanted to see him in action.
