UPDATE: Attorney Gunn stayed true to his word about getting our case closed out this week. They made it happen & myself and my family are grateful that this chapter is closed. My sons and I were involved in a multi-vehicle accident in September 2025, at the start of the school year. It is now April 2026, and after completing mediation in January, I was told we should receive our settlement within a few weeks once the insurance check was received. Since then, communication has been extremely frustrating. Each time I’ve called or emailed for an update, I’ve been told the same thing—that the check from the insurance company has not yet arrived. Most recently, I called on April 6th and was given that same response, despite hearing it repeatedly since January. I understand that we are not their only clients, but the lack of proactive communication is disappointing. Because my vehicle was totaled, our family has been relying on just one car while managing work on opposite sides of the city, which has made this delay even more difficult. We chose this firm based on recommendations from friends, and I truly wanted to have a positive experience. However, at this point, I’m left wondering how much longer this process will take. I also reached out again earlier this week and have yet to receive a call back. Overall, I’m disappointed and just ready for this to be resolved so we can move forward.
