Justin helped me adopt my stepson and he made it very easy im glad we picked a good lawyer. He is very respectful and very personable. My case went so easy I would highly recommend
Justin took time out of his day to answer our questions, and his input was critical in helping us pivot in the right direction. He was friendly, compassionate, and sharp. He's highly specialized in adoption law and absolutely the person you want in your corner for anything adoption-related. Highly recommend.

Justin and his paralegal Jessie were absolutely amazing on this with us! My husband adopted both of my oldest two children! They made the process so much easier and less stressful than I had imagined it would be! They stayed in communication better than most attorneys! Anytime I would email with a question or concern they would respond quickly! I recommend them for anyone looking for adoption assistance!

I knew Heimer Law was a good choice from the very beginning! Justin Heimer was kind and answered all my questions when my husband and I initiated our adoption journey. One of the most wonderful attorneys I've ever had the privilege of working with.
Very good at getting things done in a very speedy fashion and very thorough. Very personable, you are not just a number. He treats you like a friend.

It is so surprising seeing all of these 5 star reviews after the way my daughter was treated and serviced by Justin and this firm. They did not act in her best interest knowing all she had been through with past situations! They paid them to act in their best interest and it did not happen in no way or fashion. Very unprofessional and unethical; which professional attorneys are to abide by. They did not follow through in their responsibilities and left my daughter empty handed again! I would never recommend this firm for adoption agency. However, I am very happy their have been some who has left happy and satisfied. I would just have given anything that one of these would’ve been my daughter as well. She has truly struggled for the past 3 years with loss after loss and they were very aware of the struggles.

While, as I am sure you understand, I can't speak to the specifics of any client situation, I will express my sympathies that your daughter's adoption plan did not work out as she had hoped. As you stated, she had been on a long and painful road for years before coming to Heimer Law. Adoption can be a difficult journey. All or our clients are aware that there is a risk of the biological parents changing their mind and that the child is simply not theirs until the adoption has been completed. It is extremely painful for the hopeful adoptive parents when this happens, especially if they had similar painful experiences in the past. While I wholly disagree that we were unprofessional, unethical, or failed to follow through on our responsibilities, I understand your disappointment at the outcome of the matter. In the end, we cannot and would not guarantee that any adoption will be successful, it's simply not within our power to do so. Instead, we work to diligently and carefully provide for our clients and facilitate their adoption journey.
