I had a truly wonderful experience with Hill & Ponton, P.A. VA Disability Law Firm. From the very beginning, I felt supported and understood.
Felicia was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She was compassionate, patient, and took the time to answer every single question I had. She made sure I understood the process and never made me feel rushed or overlooked.
Josh was amazing as well. He kept me informed every step of the way and made sure I always knew what was happening with my case. His communication and professionalism gave me so much peace of mind.
To my surprise, they even sent me a welcoming gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. It truly made me feel seen and appreciated as a client.
I’m so grateful for their dedication and care. I highly recommend Hill & Ponton to any veteran seeking support with their VA disability claim.
So, I am a very new client. I did my due diligence prior to contacting Hill & Ponton. I considered a number of criteria, but the impressively high success rating, their obviously thorough vetting process and, in my case, I was happy to see they are in my local vacinity. I don't forsee that really coming into play, but it's nice to know.
I can't yet speak to my personal results in terms of increasing my rating, but I can say that so far, I have had prompt and considerate communication, Professionalism and clear, simple, easy to understand terms.
I see some reviews complaining about "high costs" As many of you know, the VA claims process is daunting. To have such a reputable company handle everything for you and guarantee results is almost invaluable.
So you only pay 30% of any back pay plus expenditure reimbursment. You end up with roughly 70% of your back pay. That is likely to be a significant amount. In my opinion, that is almost a bonus. From that point on, you receive the fair, tax free and significant funds you desererve for the rest of your life along with myriad benefits including the possibility of never paying property tax ever again depending on the state you live in.
Maybe it's better to look at the big picture.
I have used Hill & Ponton for a few years now. They were able to help get me to the rating I deserved after years of back and forth through the VA. In the begining with them it was fantastic, very communitive had a personal doctor do my diagnosis for my symptoms and was able to answer all my questions. As time went on throughout the years I did notice this communication start to fade and it became very hard to get a hold of them or hear back within a reasonable timeframe. The fee is high as well at 30% That's my only criticism though. I would recommend using them if your stuck at a lower rate and don't know what your doing with the VA.

So far with Hill and Ponton going through their intake process I am highly satisfied with the help I received. My attorney is Stacey Clark and though she just received my claim I can only imagine the more satisfied I will be after my claim is officially completed! I will provide updates as I go!
Thank you Hill and Ponton and Stacey Clark!
Update 6 SEP 25: Stacey Clark and her team have been moving diligently on my claim they have asked for far more paperwork then I've been asked and I believe that's a good sign because she's trying to get a better idea on my case which makes me feel better about everything! Thank you Hill and Ponton and Stacey Clark!
Update 17 SEP 25: I was just approved for the benefits I was entitled to thanks to Hill and ponton and Stacey I am very impressed on how fast everything was handled! Thank you once one again and I more than definitely recommend this firm while trying to secure benefits!
they don't answer emails or respect you. they want your money but don't want to help you. i asked them some simple questions and they never responded. they would relentlessly spam my phone with calls and texts but would never make any effort to do anything of value to help me. frauds and liars.
Stay away from this firm !They can't even answer a phone call and does not know how to transfer a call at all, their automated phone system is broken. Is this the kind of atourneys you want representing your case when they are not competent enough to handle their own staff not answering calls at all for new clients!
I would like to thank Stacey Clark and her amazing legal team at Hill and Ponton. In just under 15 months I went from 90% to 100% Va Disability rating. They fought hard for me and my family. They kept me informed on every level of the appeal process. If you need someone to help you out please get a free consultation ASAP. Sincerely, Michael Pelezo Middleburg Florida
As a lawyer and a veteran, I highly recommend Hill & Ponton to any veteran seeking an increase in their VA Disability claim. They are experts with a highly competent, responsive, efficient staff that expeditiously handle VA Claims. They will appeal unfair VA decisions and, in doing so, achieve desired results. Dealing with local or state VA agencies is a waste of time. If you want results within a reasonable time, you need Hill & Ponton.
One popular VA firm in Rhode Island denied taking my VA Claim outright, but Hill & Ponton took it and was successful in taking me from 50% to 100% with retroactive back pay. From intake through settlement, I was impressed and appreciated H&P's well-organized, tech-savvy administrative staff's operational efficiency combined with electronic data security capabilities.
Its staff was so highly efficient with its paperwork that I didn't have to communicate directly with any attorneys. With 49 years in the legal profession, I know that this is a hallmark of a top-notch, highly organized, premier law firm. The attorneys give orders, legal strategy, and direction to its administrative staff, and the staff at H&P followed up expertly, efficiently, and expeditiously.
The most difficult, disgruntled, and entitled clients are the ones who ignorantly demand unnecessary, direct communication with their attorney. Additionally, I've worked in personal injury law firms and discovered that Hill & Ponton is compassionate, caring, and dedicated to fighting and winning battles for their veteran clients. If you watch their YouTube videos, you will be convinced of their compassion, caring, their thorough and up-to-date knowledge of veteran's concerns and issues during the Q&A segment. They educate veterans on all issues with their YouTube videos, books, and pamphlets. For several years, the VA stalled and threw my 50% claim in the trash, Hill & Ponton recycled my claim from the VA's dumpster and won a miraculous 100% victory in less than two years! I've worked for top-rated A-1 international law firms, but in the highly specialized area of VA Claims, you will need a top-rated A-1 law firm: Hill & Ponton.
Mathew Hill and Stephanie from this law firm won EVERY appeal case for me and was personal, kind and euruditious. I would like to recommend them to ALL veterans in need respectfully..

For over 10 years, I tried to file my VA disability claim on my own because the VA was treating me for Service Connected Disabilities but, would not give me the ratings. I needed help. Several VA Law Firms later, based on nothing more than a 'feel good interaction with the Hill and Ponton Team', again, I sent out my VA File. Within a few days, Carol Ponton personally called to except my case and verify the findings within the VA File. Now, I was part of their Team which included; Carol Ponton, Brenda Duplantis, Amanda Dejesas, Amanda Martin, and others. I was totally impressed with the Team's knowledge of VA law, VA procedures, and VA process efficiencies that flat out work. Through out the process, a member of the Team would request a step which, generally because of my VA disabilities I did not complete. Without fail, a Team member would reach out with a call or email to check on me. Looking back, I cannot emphasize how important that became. Each Team member of Hill and Ponton always responded with questions, corrections, and updates by phones calls or emails in a timely manner with compassion and understanding for this challenged veteran. We military veterans are fully trained to understand and execute our duties along each step of our assigned processes and responsibilities to achieve a successful mission. After over 10 years disappointment, this Team successfully completed the mission only because the entire Hill and Ponton Team went above and beyond to help this challenged veteran and family. Be advised, reach out to them.
