I worked with Robert Hooy who was thoughtful, and very patient in explaining the details and answering my question. I had an outstanding experience w/ William Hooy & his firm. If you're like me, most of us only seek legal advice when something goes wrong or you're being proactive about protecting something. In our case, Hooy & Hooy PLC helped us establish a trust. I really liked working with them for a couple reasons: 1. they're local: I can go to them in-person 2. William is a young millennial like me: he's going to be practicing law for a long time which is good! Laws change over time. 3. Our HOA Board of Directors hired Robert and William to help us resolve a contract issue with our HOA management company. They did a FANTASTIC job and ultimately persuaded our management company to waive the erroneous fees they were planning to charge us. Robert and William read our contract carefully and then drafted a detailed and persuasive letter that was sent to the management company on our behalf. Had them do my trust. It was a good experience. They were affordable and thought of every scenario to avoid confusion and rework down the road.

We established a living trust in 2000 and it was time to update it, since many things had changed. We contacted Hooy & Hooy and asked them to review our trust. William Hooy did the review and made several recommendations. He thoroughly explained everything in easy to understand terms.
