I reached out to Hunter Pyle Law on January 14th regarding concerns about a severance agreement with a January 27th signing deadline. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response until February 20th, nearly a month later and well after the deadline had already passed. Because of the delay, I had already been forced to sign the agreement and no longer needed legal consultation by the time they responded. I understand law firms can be busy, but when someone reaches out about a time-sensitive employment matter, responsiveness is critical.
