My initial experience was okay , I found that Herbert wasn't that personable. I knew within the first few moments in meeting with him that we weren't going to use him. The true test in a bankruptcy attorney and how he has handled your bankruptcy is in the many years to follow. Mr. Williams was very nice and helped a recently divorced mom of many children. BUT, after 17 years, my bankruptcy has come back to haunt me. My attorney advised me to "reaffirm" a mortgage that my ex-husband and I had allowed a buyer to assume on a home we sold. Now that owner, of the home I sold over 17 years ago, has stopped paying the mortgage and it is on my credit as a "foreclosure" . I don't own the home!
