workman's comp claim and car accident
Post-Settlement
I hired Larry to help me with a workman’s comp claim took some years but we got it done. A few weeks later I had the pleasure of getting rear ended in my car. Unsure of what to do I called Larry explained the situation. He said he could handle the case so I followed his advice. Now 2 years later I’m over 10k in debt. The amount of debt his advice has incurred upon me is more than settlement he got me. His parting piece of advice to me was contact my debtors and beg for forgiveness. Overall just not a great experience. Please do not contact me.
Owner response
Lee, thank you for the feedback. Regarding the workers’ compensation case, I am proud to say that we were able to obtain a good settlement that is higher than the average for your type of case. About the auto accident case, as I explained, unfortunately we were not able to locate and serve legal process on the driver of the car that hit you. We first hired the Cook County Sheriff, and then two separate private investigators to serve him. They made a tremendous effort, but they were not able to locate the defendant. This is an exception that only happens very rarely, but it does happen. My office incurred significant cost in filing the lawsuit for you and retaining both the sheriff and two separate private investigators to attempt to serve the defendant. Those costs are a loss for us which I accept as part of this business. The medical bills you incurred, I would be more than happy to contact the providers to negotiate getting the bills reduced or dropped. Please feel free to contact me about this and I’ll do my very best to help you out. -Larry Jackowiak

UPDATE: Lee, I took another look at your file, and it shows only $800.00 in bills (not 10k), which should have been paid by your health insurance. Regardless of the total amount, I can have the bills cancelled and dropped by the providers so you will owe nothing. I can do this for you at no charge. Feel free to contact me to discuss.
