Tried to work with you all through a debt settlement company and came back with not only give us all the money up front so the garnishment didn't happen to the tune of 731 a paycheck, but give us an extra 200 more than what the total garnishment was at 2900. The whole reason this went to garnishment is your absolute refusal to work with them on payments in the first place. I really do not know how you all sleep with yourselves at night. The absolute worst company to work with hands down. Congratulations, I am now not going to know how to feed my children but good on you for getting your money as fast as possible.
This law firm is TERRIBLE! if i could give 0 stars I would. They're predatory and desperate. They use illegal means to collect debt by taking an absurd amount of money from the bank accounts of minor children who have absolutely nothing to do with the alleged debt they are collecting. They do not verify the validity of the debt or whether it is fraudulent or not. They do not work with people to resolve debt. Their secretaries or whomever answers the phone are also dismissive and give vague info making it difficult to get to the bottom of their means of collecting debt.
Brittany and whatever other female that answer phones are rude as well. They do not like to take the time to answer questions and rushed off the phone while trying to verify all the information related to the case.
Extremely disappointed with the unprofessional conduct of Brittany at this law firm. I called with an important matter less than 20 minutes before closing, only to be abruptly dismissed so she could get off. This was a time-sensitive matter that deserved basic courtesy and attention, especially from someone in a legal environment where professionalism should be the standard. If this is how client concerns are handled, I’d strongly reconsider doing business with this firm.
The incompetence and lack of accountability of this firm's support staff is both alarming and disheartening. My husband's account with this Firm was behind a couple of payments due to a very serious personal matter. After receiving a reminder from the firm, he provided authorization to debit 2 separate transactions for the past due amount. The office staff violated their own payment terms and conditions by drafting an additional UNAUTHORIZED amount for a future payment that is not due yet, they have refused to refund the money after numerous requests and now have resorted to an unprofessional tactic of ignoring communication.
*UPDATE* Had to persistently demand a refund. It was eventually received.
Jenkins & Young P.C. needs to address the unprofessional conduct of its legal assistant, Abigail Flores. During my interaction with Ms. Flores, I encountered significant difficulties obtaining basic account information, specifically the calculation of my remaining balance. Her responses were dismissive, condescending, and lacked the professionalism expected from a legal office. Repeated requests for clarification were met with the repetitive and unhelpful statement, "we are not your legal counsel." This response, while technically correct, avoided the issue of providing transparent and accessible account information. Her attitude was immature and inappropriate for someone in a client-facing role. Ms. Flores' demeanor and lack of assistance cast a negative shadow over my experience with Jenkins & Young P.C. Her behavior suggests a need for improved client service training and potentially a reassessment of her suitability for a position requiring client interaction. While I cannot comment on the firm's legal expertise, the experience with Ms. Flores was extremely unprofessional and warrants attention.
I’ve had a horrible experience with this company! There is no negotiating with them and all they’re out is to try to make as much money as possible, regardless of your financial hardship.
I had a terrible experience with one of their representatives. She was unbelievably rude and hung up on me. It was clear she had no interest in helping me or even looking into my case. When I called back, another person managed to find the information easily, which just shows how unhelpful the first person was. Completely unprofessional.
If I could give this firm 0 stars I would. They served me with papers for a civil debt suit and are refusing to drop the suit so they can work with my Debt Consolidation company. Additionally, the firm sent me paperwork that included another individuals Personal Identifiable Information (PII) which is extremely alarming so I will be contesting working with them when we go to court.
