Jennie Patton Attorney at Law

I can't get a hold of her. She does not return my calls. I paid for her service in full in December of 2024. About 2 1/2 months ago she said she would and she never did.

I had high expectations for this lawyer when I hired her a few years ago, very disappointed with the poor service and ignorance of calls and emails that were sent many times. I do not recommend this business , unless they work on resolving these issues.

Jennie helped me in 2018. For a process that could have been terrifying and traumatizing, Jennie made smooth and she took the time to educate me in each step of the process, which made me feel confident I was making the right choice for my situation. She also allowed me to make a payment plan, which was incredibly helpful. She understands you are in a tough spot and is very supportive. I called her office today for a copy of my bankruptcy documents. I was able to speak to her directly and she was as kind and helpful as ever. Thanks to her services and guidance, a couple years later, my credit is recovered and my husband and I are looking at buying a house. I truly recommend Jennie.

During the economic downturn in 2011 we found ourselves in a bad financial spot due to a job loss and a deceptive bank that held our mortgage at the time. We had come up against a decision that we must get help to be able to survive these problems financially. After speaking to several Attorneys we decided to ask Jennie for help getting through this problem, Jennie is really good at determining the best plan to take and her and her team were able to help us resolve this issue. Last week we received some communication about this financial issue from over ten years ago, a new company had information that was incorrect and were asking for payment on a debt that was legally resolved over six years ago, even though we thought there could not be a problem with this I reached out to Jennie, I got a call back within an hour and she spent a fair amount of time with us explaining that we had no debt and how to address this issue, and that if need be she would step in to help . We were relieved that all is well and impressed that Jennie would take the time to help even after these years. Jennie and her team really care and work hard for the people they represent. Absolutely the WORST. If I could give her ZERO stars I would. I AM a current client. It took me sending emails, texts and repeated calling to get a hold of her. It was almost 4 weeks of repeatedly trying to reach her before I got a hold of her. After taking the information and paperwork she needed to move my case forward, she just "disappeared". I called a week later to find out the status of my case, nothing. I have called, texted, emailed, another attorney that was trying to provide her information called her, she never called her back. My realtor and title company called her, no response. We have been trying to reach her for OVER a month and nothing. I finally had to file a bar complaint. She is impacting the purchase and sale of a home. I will be filing a lawsuit. She is incompetent. DO NOT USE HER. SHE CAN NOT DO HER JOB.

She is the best!!! I had so much anxiety about claiming bankruptcy and she really calmed me. She explained everything to me in a way I could understand. If I ever have to claim bankruptcy again for any reason she will be the first call I make

Initially Jennie Patton told us to be very cautious of all other bankruptcy attorneys as they would offer to manage our bankruptcy for a very small amount and then would charge much more over the course of the Bankruptcy. Jennie Patton charged us an initial fee of $2,159.00. Over the course of the bankruptcy they charged us $8,262.62. I requested a report from them of all their charges and what the charges was for. They have not provided us with this report. A number of years into the bankruptcy they started doing a review of the bankruptcy, this was something they did in other years. This time I questioned what they were doing. They said it was necessary to make sure the bankruptcy was on track. I asked if they were charging us additional fees for the review and they said yes. I contacted the Trustee and found out that the bankruptcy had been in a status for a number of years where no Creditors could cause any changes to the bankruptcy. I just needed to make my monthly payments. The bankruptcy attorneys from my understanding were doing totally unnecessary work and then having to change my bankruptcy payments to cover the new attorney fee charges. I was unhappy. Based on my experiences I would never use this firm again. I would never recommend them to anyone and have contacted other attorneys I have worked with and gave them all of these details. I firmly believe this firm is not to be trusted. I would give them no stars if I could.

I've actually used Jennie Patton twice now for bankruptcy and both times were made to be very easy and painless. Personally I have recommended her to quite a few people.
