I had a pretty frustrating experience with this law firm. From the start, communication was really lacking. I found myself waiting a long time for responses to simple questions, which was surprising given how new I was to navigating legal matters. I tried to be understanding, thinking maybe they were just busy, but it was hard to ignore how often I'd reach out without getting answers.
When I finally managed to ask to speak to my lawyer, John Cummings, after nearly four years, he couldn't even spare me a quick chat. My first case was unfortunately dropped due to the statute of limitations. I understood that slip and fall cases can be tough, so I didn't push too hard. However, my second case seemed like a clear-cut situation—the other party had been ticketed for an auto/pedestrian accident, and their insurance was willing to settle.
I was reassured that things were moving forward, but weeks and months went by with no updates. When I finally did hear back, they seemed to place some of the blame on me for delays. Overall, I felt let down and frustrated with how the entire process was handled. I really hoped for better support and communication throughout my cases
I finally decided to switch to a new law office after feeling stuck for years. Honestly, I was at my wit's end worrying about whether my case would be settled before the statute of limitations ran out. I had waited for one last update from my previous attorney, but they kept pushing back the timeline and never followed through. It was so frustrating.
Now, the new law office has been reaching out for weeks to get information from them, and I feel like I'm back in the same boat with no responses. I just hope others don’t have to go through the same stressful situation I faced during one of the toughest times in my life. If only I had taken the time to read reviews before making my choice. It might have saved me from all this hassle!
I would give less than zero stars if there were. These guys, specially a lady called Kathy Steinmetz, is very unprofessional. I don't even think she is a real attorney. Guys my simple traffic accident case on which the other driver hit me and caused injury to me has been rolling on her hands since January 2020, five years, five years guys. The office as whole and she in particular doesn't answer my calls, emails, texts, nothing. Now my belief is she has been negotiating with the insurance company and getting what she wants to get at the expense of me. Remember how could a simple car accident case take 5 years? Does anyone has had similar case with me? Are these people real layers? If so, do you think they can represent you and serve you as you wish? Noooo. Learn from me. If you go to these guys for any legal advice, you will lose your money, time and more importantly lose your mind. Avoid this firm.
If you are female he is out to victimize you. Call, I would love to explain and show you how this man's lack of eithics is amazing. Let me show you exactly how he didn't even attempt to help me. He was my Attorney. He was also a school mate of my ex. No disclosure.

This is obviously a fake review! We don't have a client with that name and never receive complaints from clients. We work equally hard for all clients and conduct our business with the highest integrity and ethics! If there is a legitimate concern, we are happy to address it.
Don't waste your time and money I promise he will do bare minimum he is friends with all prosecuting attorneys so they help each other out not the client I'm not the only guy that's used him a few of my friends and family will say the same I wish I would of know this before

My ex with an extensive criminal background hired john to defend him against multiple burglary 3 degree burglary and theft charges. He was facing 1-15 years. John was able to get the charges plead down and my ex ended up serving only 10 days in the actual jail and completed his time in the work center which ended up being 30 days. John is very thorough and extremely sharp. He is legit and knows his stuff. I will never hire or recommend any other criminal defense attorney. John is just amazing and his staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you Jennifer. You are always on top of things.

John helped me reduce my dui charges to a reckless so no liscence suspension. Just minimal fines and a few class no drug test nada. He also gave a me a great deal for paying him within the month after I areed his services. I am greatful for the outcome because my job was riding on it. Thanks John!
John Cummings is the most knowledgeable and caring attorney I have had the pleasure to hire. He took the time and went out of his way, to get the best possible resolution, I could have imagined. You cannot hire a more attentive and determined advocate for your case.

He is so competent! Hands down best Lawyer I have ever seen in action. Expertly defended me the entire time, knew I had a powerful ally in court. Made entire process less stressful for me as well as made me feel safer. Cummings is worth every penny you spend on a defense fund! When all is said and done and your case is over you will be glad you had John on your side. If your worried about a particular upcoming case then think about hiring John. Don't use some inept, court appointed attorney, the type who simply filed paperwork then watched a past case of yours as a spectator, get John instead and see why locals rave about his skill, ability and talent.
