I had a thorny real-estate warranty problem that had several difficult contract issues for me (an ordinary citizen). It seemed to be clear to me that because the foundation of my 9-year-old home (the warranty covered the first 10 years after first sale) had 18 large cracks that the warranty was going to pay to fix that problem. The warranty company's position was that it would only cover part of the remediation because of various confusing clauses in the warranty contract. My Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin lawyers, Andrew Benefiel and Cynthia Gartner Tranquilino, guided me through a series of interactions with the warranty company that increased the warranty company's settlement offer without prolonged and expensive litigation. I greatly appreciate Andrew and Cynthia's help.

I was involved in an auto/pedestrian accident in 2021. I was simply knocked down to the pavement in a parking lot.
It didn't seem like a "big deal" until I started to have some debilitating back pain. I just wasn't able to stand for any length of time, which was negatively affecting my everyday life.
I contacted Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, P.C. about my case.
Matthew Crowther, Esq. and his team handled my case, first getting a settlement from the driver's insurance company and then actually filing against my personal insurance company.
It took some time, actually about three years, but Matthew was able to negotiate a six figure settlement for me.
The fact that I deposited a six figure check into my bank account last week still hasn't actually sunk in.
Matthew and his team did an amazing job for me and I would certainly give him my highest recommendation!

I contacted Jorgenson and Brownell for help on resolving an issue where I hired a contractor to do a basement finish for me that ended up being done extremely poorly and needing to be redone. I was at a loss because without going through the legal situation, it was obvious nothing would be fixed. Mr. Jorgenson was professional, upfront, and walked me through the procedures and processes that would need to take place, I always got a quick response when I had a question and his staff was great. I won my case with more than was expected and Mr. Jorgenson was extremely gracious in how much he charged me for the case. I would highly recommend this practice if you are needing a professional and moral law firm.

Everyone at JBP was wonderful to work with. They were most knowledgeable, efficient and accommodating. I hired Jorgensen Brownell & Pepin to represent me in a child support modification case, and I worked specifically with Stephanie M. Fournier. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
After spending over $13,000, there was absolutely no change to my support order, and I did not receive any additional parenting time with my kids — which was the entire reason I hired representation in the first place. For that amount of money, I expected effort, strategy, and advocacy. Instead, I felt like there was very little to show for it.
Communication was also frustrating. I was repeatedly asked for the same documents and information that I had already provided. It felt disorganized and inefficient. At times, it seemed like multiple people were handling things without clear coordination, yet nothing moved forward in a meaningful way.
I also did not feel that my case was strongly advocated for. I expected my attorney to know the law thoroughly and to actively fight for what I was requesting in my modification. That simply did not happen. When I raised concerns about the direction of my case and the lack of progress, the response was defensive rather than solution-focused. Instead of working through the concerns, she indicated she wanted to withdraw from representation.
Another major issue was availability. I was initially told she would be accessible when needed, but when important matters came up, I was told to schedule a meeting because she was too busy. While I understand attorneys have schedules, expectations should be set clearly upfront.
Overall, I felt like I paid a substantial amount of money for minimal results and very little meaningful advocacy. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm for child support modification cases.
