Initial phone call to Pittera Law was pretty much disinterest to say the least. Nevertheless, he booked me for an appt for the next day; I received 2 emails confirming my appt time, towhich I did respond in a positive manner. I arrived at his office 10 mins b4 my appt time, to find a locked door and no lights on. I knocked, no1 was in. I waited outside... 10 mins past my assigned time, I called his office & got the ans machine, left a msg, ANNNND emailed him i was wtg outside. Waited 10 more mins, knocked persistently, no1 came. Checked email box, no reply. Now it's 30 mins into my time, I called again to get the ans machine again, leaving another msg I'm here wtg, ANNNNND knocked to no answer, annnnd Left ANOTHER msg that I'm outside waiting. No callback, no Email reply. 45 mins in, I called it quits. It's now 0350 hrs on Saturday morning, and as of yet I received NO callback and no reply to my emails. I just cannot and will not recommend this lawyer partly because of his subdued IDGAF attitude on the initial call to his office, and mainly because of him being a no-show at my appt time. I'm pretty patient these days, but 45+ mins is MORE than enough patience on my end, PLUS no call or email regarding this appt... "Hey, I'm really sorry I left you hanging like that, I was....blah blah blah" you know, toss an excuse or good reason for the no-show via email or call later in the day. Nope. Unprofessional. Thx 4 nuthin'.

I hired Joseph Pittera in a desperate situation to handle an emergency custody RFO for my children based on serious allegations. This was a complete disaster. He took my money and did almost nothing. Most of the time, he was unavailable, unresponsive, and too “busy” to handle my case. I needed professional help during an urgent, critical time, and instead, I got ignored, abandoned, and left to deal with everything on my own. Personal excuses, like his wife being in the hospital, do not justify neglecting a client’s emergency case. I trusted him to represent me and protect my children, and he failed completely. I regret hiring him. If you need a lawyer who will actually show up, respond, and fight for you, look elsewhere. This is one of the worst legal experiences I’ve ever had.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Joseph's professionalism and clarity, as he was recommended to me by a deputy officer. He is consistently punctual, provides thorough explanations of each step in the process, and keeps me informed with regular updates. Joseph and his team create a welcoming atmosphere, treating clients with warmth and respect. I wholeheartedly recommend his services and would gladly seek his assistance again in the future.

I would NOT recommend Mr. Pittera to anyone going through a divorce or any legal matters. 1) Showed up late to an ONLINE court hearing. 2) Withheld information from me regarding my case. 3) Advised me not to show up because I was never served w/o telling me he had been served to my case. Which I didn't find out until after the fact. 4) Would not return my calls or emails. I decided to look elsewhere for legal advice after several hearings where he showed incompetency. What broke the camels back was when he told me that the opposing attorney was being "mean" I initially hired him because the retainer fee was cheaper than other law firms, I truly regret it, his inability to do his job cost me not only money but also my time. Going through a divorce is hard and mentally draining, get yourself a decent attorney and stay away from this guy. Mr. Pittera you are doing your clients a great disservice.

First and foremost I'd like to thank the team , and Mr.Pittera for reuniting me back with my daughter! A case like mine isn't something that you go about willy nilly, and for good reason. Im so happy that I chose Joseph to represent me. Not only did he accept to represent me in my case,but he did in a time frame that was a bit on the short side. I knew I was in good hands right off the bat at our first meeting. I say this because of the attention to detail, confidence, and passion that Joseph, his Wife, and their secretary showed. Yep , that's right , family helping families! Although my case was Family Law, I now have a lawyer for all aspects in Law,as I know Joseph is versed in multiple areas and can strategize with the best of them. Let me tell you you something that I was in awe of. When Joseph and I were in the courtroom and he was speaking to the Judge, he commanded the room. Not even 20 minutes into the case and the Judge was nodding her head and agreeing with all of the points Joseph was putting out ! I knew I won right then and there, and we sure did! If you are looking for someone to represent you in your upcoming case , please help yourself and choose this amazing professional!
