I retained Joseph Rhodes, who was acting as Of Counsel for Industria Business Lawyers LLP, for a time-sensitive business dispute. Unfortunately, the representation did not meet basic professional expectations. It also became clear during the engagement that the matter fell outside his core practice experience. This was a high-urgency dispute that required tight procedural execution, verification of filings, and disciplined follow-through. Instead, there were ongoing issues with responsiveness, uncertainty about whether key actions were actually completed, and an inability to provide clear confirmation for filings and communications that were billed as performed. These issues were particularly concerning given the high fees charged and the apparent lack of meaningful administrative or paralegal support on the matter. Tasks that should have involved basic verification, tracking, or support appeared to fall entirely on attorney time and, ultimately, on us as the client. As a result, we were forced to spend substantial time reconstructing the record ourselves and ultimately terminated the engagement. A fee dispute is now pending, and we are seeking a full refund of fees paid based on the deficiencies in the representation. Based on my experience, I would not retain this attorney for any matter

Signed a retainer for him in 2024 to only for him ti make 1 call and ignore everything else. He will not respond to me and it’s been over a year since I’ve heard from him

I just want to know if I’m divorced or not…will update if situation changes…but so far experience has been trash. Can’t get anyone on the phone EVER. I’ve got a slight suspicion yall ducking because yall haven’t done anything…..👀

This guy hounded me to sign a retainer in Sept 2024, I have contacted him several times since October with no reply via phone or email. He has not addressed my case what so ever. He told me I definitely have a case then started ignoring me. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. It’s in regards to my child passing away . He should have been honest instead of adding to the stress and anxiety. Ridiculous

He did not follow up on my case and never answered the calls or messages only collection and no longer gave him importance. I am about to make a report in the Admissions Office of the State Bar of Georgia. He does not deserve a star.

If I could give zero stars I would!!! He is very lazy he does not do any work on your case but he takes your money!!! I should have known he was a scam when I’m telling him about my case and he quoted me $4000 and then went down to $3500!!! I’m a single mom that had a custody case going on I don’t have money to waste on a lawyer that doesn’t do his job!!! He wasn’t telling me everything that was going on in my case!! I spoke with his paralegal Patti more than I ever spoke with him!!! I asked for an itemized expense break down and I never received it and then he requests to drop me as a client saying I didn’t cooperate with the discovery that was sent to me but I was the one reaching out to him and his office about my case and what needed to be done!!! Still to this day I haven’t received my expense break down or a refund for the amount that was left. He basically took my money and ran off and didn’t do any work!!! He also makes empty promises on your case!!!
