I had an accident case that was resolved within a year, but I must strongly warn others about this attorney. He took over 45% of my settlement plus additional fees, claiming that if he went to court, his fee would be that high. However, he never went to court; he just filed a case as a tactic to justify that percentage. Over the last year and a half, I never once had the chance to speak with the attorney himself. Every time I tried to get answers, I was passed off to an assistant—then another assistant—and so on. I never got my questions answered and never spoke to the attorney directly. To make matters worse, they received the settlement funds long ago, but I still have not been paid. I feel completely misled, and I was tricked into signing documents without fully understanding the terms. Please be very cautious—make sure you speak directly with your attorney, understand every fee, and never sign anything without full clarity. I don’t want others to go through this same experience.

Overall my case did take longer than I expected but it was because the defendant's insurance (Farmers) trying was saying that I was fine when I was not, but JT took it to the end and ultimately got me the policy max. I was also provided a truck rental for 5 months due to a parts shortage and I wasn't going to settle for anything other than OEM to fix my truck. It was all paid for by defendant's insurance. Also, I was at a complete stop on the freeway in traffic when I was rear ended by someone doing 65mpg according to the defendant, but im sure that he was going much faster, probably more like 80mpg. Overall good experience with JT
