I want to thank Roman at Kesselman Law Firm for taking my case, and a special thank you to Elina, who handled my case throughout the entire process! I learned about their office from friends, and during my trial, I personally met two people who won their case with the Kesselman Law Firm team. I highly recommend contacting the Kesselman Law Firm team! To win your case, you simply need to trust the Kesselman Law Firm team. Thank you 😊

I am incredibly grateful to Kesselman Law Firm, especially Mr. Roman Kesselman! Unlike other lawyers who scared me with worst-case scenarios and pressure, he was calm, patient, and reassuring. He explained everything clearly. After years of a very complicated asylum case, I was finally granted asylum. I highly recommend this firm! I didn't receive any information and paid for a 15-minute consultation that mostly consisted of talking and didn't receive an answer to my questions.

I hired this attorney based on friends’ recommendations and initially felt confident moving forward. He listened to our story, agreed to take the case, and we paid half of the fee right away. Unfortunately, after that it felt like we were forgotten. The case was not actively worked on, and I repeatedly tried to reach the office to submit the remaining documents and get updates. No one responded in a timely manner, and we were only contacted about two weeks before the hearing. What was especially disappointing is that Roman took another matter scheduled for our hearing date and sent Zara instead. On top of that, they decided to re-translate documents that were already prepared and translated-without consulting us. The new translations contained errors, and they did not manage to file the updated documents in time. We won the case, but only because our case was strong and well-prepared from the start-despite the attorney’s handling of it, not because of it. I cannot recommend this firm due to poor communication, lack of follow-through, and last-minute handling of critical details.
Owner response
This is the first bad review after a case was won and asylum was granted. We are happy with the result in your case. We will put our firm's record in the immigration court system against anyone in the United States over the last 20 years. As we had submitted hundreds of pages of documents in evidence in your case 15 days prior to your hearing, it is certainly not true that we only contacted you two weeks before the hearing. When your hearing was scheduled on the date of another hearing, we could have asked for your hearing to be rescheduled to a much later date or go forward with it. One attorney cannot be in two courtrooms at the same time. We recommended to go forward with your case, because it had the best chances of being granted then. And, it was. You are entitled to your opinion and your right to say what you want, certainly. To those who pay attention to social media: if you, like Aleksandr, think you have a strong case and don't need a firm with decades of experience, go ahead and do it yourself. If you want people who have done it for many years and are capable of giving an honest opinion and realistic expectations, we would be happy to talk to you. As we hardly advertise ourselves, as you can imagine, we've been busy for a reason. Our hundreds of clients have won their cases with our help, not despite it.

We'd like to share our experience with Kesselman Law Firm. We received expert advice from Roman during our first meeting, after which we signed a contract for his defense. We were well prepared for the trial, which allowed us to calmly and confidently attend the hearing. As a result, our family was granted asylum on October 9, 2025, thanks to the professional work of Roman and his team.

Our experience with KESSELMAN LAW FIRM was mixed. We initially worked with attorney Zara, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. She delayed submitting our documents for nearly three months, during which we had to follow up every week just to get updates. Each time, she told us the paperwork was already submitted, but we later discovered it was not. Whenever we asked her questions—especially about the green card process and what we could or could not do based on my wife’s green card status—she either avoided answering or admitted uncertainty, even though the official immigration website made the process quite clear. It left us questioning whether her knowledge was limited or if she simply wasn’t attentive to our case. Honestly, we found ourselves relying more on ChatGPT throughout the process, which provided more accurate and timely guidance than Zara did. A couple of months later, we had an urgent family situation and needed to apply for advance parole for my wife. At that point, our case was transferred to Elina, and the experience changed completely. She was responsive, resourceful, and very helpful. Elina explained the process clearly, followed up without us having to chase her, and gave us confidence that our case was being handled properly. Overall, if you decide to work with KESSELMAN LAW FIRM, I strongly recommend asking to work with Elina. Based on our experience, she is professional, knowledgeable, and truly cares about her clients.

"A lawyer's time and advice are his stock in trade." — Abraham Lincoln I learned about this firm through friends who highly recommended it. As with any company that provides high-quality services, it's important to schedule an appointment in advance! When you walk into the office of Kesselman Law Firm, you are welcomed by true professionals—you're in good hands. I chose Roman to represent me in immigration court, and I wasn't wrong! I received full service: legal consultations, document preparation, help applying for a work permit, and—just as important—genuine human support every step of the way from the Kesselman Law Firm team: Elina, Anna, and Ruslana. I want to say a huge thank you to Olga Bagdasarov! Absolutely professional, correct, responsible, a person of honor! I wasn't asked to leave a review, but this is simply a cry of gratitude from my heart! I contacted her on three different matters: obtaining a residence permit for myself, registering for citizenship, and on the issue of family reunification for my mother! And every time I work with her, I know I'm in good hands: she answers all questions, is always available for a conversation or an answer by email, and prepares for the interview word for word with the questions that will be asked!
