DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!! This is not even a hospital the do not have the proper equipment for patients treatment and they lack of attention and empathy for there patients! They don’t care!!?NOT ONCE did a doctor come in to give a statutes about my family members condition. Your loved ones will not be in good hands if you send them here !!! THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT A PAYCHECK !!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I strongly warn others not to send their family members here. My dad was transferred to this facility to improve his health, but he did not. I truly felt like the staff did not care about their patients.The nurses often took around 30 minutes to respond when patients needed assistance. The won't give updates on the condition of my dad and Additionally, the facility did not seem to have the proper resources that a hospital should have to adequately care for its patients. Don’t send your loved ones here !!!!!

Kindred hospital does not take good care of patients or check up on them

Never bring your family member to this place , you will see them alive then you won’t ! This place has a lot of neglecting ! Now that I write this review administration wants to reached out but that is very too late . my father spend 3 months in this place being neglected and he was here for rehabilitation but they were focused on comfort and which killed him faster ! Don’t bring your family members to this place, the social worker frank wont even show his face or reach out to the families

Dr Hourani was professional,thorough and truly cared about my wellbeing .Highly recommend him and kindred hospital.

I also wanted to thank the team of Respiratory therapists and the supervisors Valadi and Darrell.Thank you CEO Jason Perez, you are so polite. Nursing supervisor Grace was kind and listened. RT Director Jocelyn, you are so humble and brilliant. Thank you rehab, everyone worked together to get my loved one off that ventilator and he is also eating and talking. My first experience at this facility was this morning. I asked to speak to administrator had questions about some of the reviews I read. Not only was she rude and dismissive she hung up on me. I was just trying to get information, before our loved one was transferred. How are we supposed to feel comfortable with leaving our loved one alone. This was a missed opportunity.

Thank you to Dr Hourani and the respiratory therapy team and other colleagues that made it possible for me to be weaned off the ventilator. Before kindred I was told at 3 different hospitals that it was impossible for me to breathe without the ventilator.On day one I met Dr Hourani, the RT Director and the Respiratory Supervisor. Day 2 the Respiratory Therapist started to wean me. The supervisor later changed my trach tube so I can talk. This was the most exciting and wonderful time.I have not heard my voice in 4 months. Moving forward, I was discharged last week to a rehab hospital for more exercise. I did not need the ventilator anymore. I am very very grateful for Dr Hourani and the team at kindred Los Angeles. I would also recommend this place as the best facility for vent weaning and rehabilitation.

Zero stars! Worst place to send your loved ones! Careless staff and doctors that could truly careless! Avoid at all costs, please !!!!

Our family had a very concerning experience at Kindred Hospital Los Angeles. My father was transferred there from another Hospital with a clear plan for continued monitoring and treatment. However, once he arrived, we encountered repeated issues with communication and coordination of care. During his stay, staff frequently indicated they did not have complete information about his medical history or prior treatment plan. We had to repeatedly ask for updates and clarification regarding his care. There were also instances where we were told certain medications or treatments did not have active orders in his chart, which was concerning given his existing conditions. My father also expressed that he felt he was not being checked on regularly and was not always informed about the care he was receiving. After several days, he experienced a serious medical emergency that required transfer to a higher level of care. This was especially difficult for our family given the earlier challenges we experienced in communication and clarity around his treatment. This review reflects our personal experience. Based on what we went through, we would strongly encourage others to carefully consider their options and look into alternative facilities.

If you guys love your family members, don’t bring your love ones here. My auntie passed away and the nurses never notice she passed away until hours later. Keep your love ones far away from this horrible place
