Lack of willingness to work with client. Only communication was that she was charging me for me asking questions. Drop me as a client three days before a hearing. Due to medical allegedly. I have never received a bill how she use the hours against my retainer. But I'm still dealing with the Bar Association. Let me say stay clear of her. I have not been billed for any services from the time I hired her. I submitted a Formal complaint with State Bar 8 months ago. Talked to investigator today, and was told they are still looking into the matter. My other complaints are same as yours. Not good thinks more where she can make more money for herself her interests come first think 10 times before going for any kind of case at her office will give you wrong advice where she can keep your case hanging months to years so she can make more money off of you.

KKG Law Offices was the blessing I needed for my situation. My case was slightly complex. It involved two DVTRO, a peaceful contact order, and I brought Karan on only two weeks before the TRIAL. Yep. Hearings were all said and done, opposing party was not budging on anything. Karan came on confident, compassionate, and brutally honest. Although things seemed hopeless to me, she had a sound strategy. She welcomed communication and always offered great responses that made me feel like we had this under control. Her team was just as responsive and professional. All of this gave me hope. And this is during the most stressful and scary time of my entire life. On the day of the trial I was tense. Karan was still confident and very to the point. In the courtroom she was pleasant and professional. Ultimately, I received a favorable outcome: I kept kept custody of my child and a protective order was put in place for me and my child. The money I paid was well spent. Ms. Karen Gill did an excellent job in my family court case. She was able to get me 100 percent full sole legal and physical custody as well as the monetary funds that were rightfully owed to me at trial. She caught one of the judges just skimming through my case, and had not actually read the documents properly. She is very fierce in trial and knows how to fight for you, and ask the necessary questions to win your case. I hired her after I couldn’t afford my original attorney. For some reason, the judges were not listening to my original attorney, but they listened to Ms.Gill! Ms. Gill and Paula and Mr. Moreno work as a power team in order to win your case and keep costs for you at the minimum possible. They might not answer and talk to you too long because they don’t want to charge you $450 to $900 for a phone conversation, as those are considered billable hours in the law office. It’s more affordable and accurate to communicate through email or text. Also, Ms. Gill and her team try to incorporate themselves when only necessary in order to keep the costs at a minimum for the clients. When it is time to fight, they fight! I had all 3 of the team at my trial, which I was not expecting. I felt very supported and protected by them. I highly recommend Ms. Gill and her team to anyone going through any legal matters! I took a case with them regarding a labor issue, and I had a great experience with them. I was successful in obtaining the compensation I deserved. The attention from Jose Moreno was excellent, and they were always ready to answer all my questions. They kept me informed of all the progress in the case. Highly recommended.

Grossly unprofessional, dishonest to say the least, it is criminal that she is still practicing law. I filed two complaints with the California Bar Association and will continue to pursue the matter until something is done. There have been many other formal complaints against her. Unfortunately, Attorney’s protect their own. Hopefully, justice will prevail. My complaints are too detailed to write in this post, but there are many similarities to the other one star reviews that have been posted. I hired Ms.gill to represent me a highly contentious divorce, and an upcoming trial in approximately six months later . The start of my demise began when Ms. Gill went on medical leave within a couple of weeks of hiring her, and delegated my case to one of her two associate attorneys. Both attorneys quit within three months, resulting in no one preparing for my trial until Ms.Gill returned five months later, and only four weeks prior before trial. Upon her return, we had a settlement conference with the Court , at which time she pleaded with the Court to postpone the trial for the second time. The first request was made by her associate Attorney during her medical leave. Ms.Gill argued she needed time to prepare being she just returned from Medical leave, is still not one hundred percent well, and with a backlog of cases. The Court was seemingly annoyed with the circumstances, and her lack of familiarity in particular, denied her request, and the trial remained on Calendar in four weeks. In another conference shortly thereafter, Without my permission, Ms.Gill frivolously asked the Court to advance $45,000 from a settlement trust fund so she could prepare for the imminent upcoming trial. Seemingly, now implying that she did not work on my case due to lack of funds. Despite multiple multiple requests in writing, I did not receive any billing statements from Ms..Gill until after filing two formal complaints with the California Bar Association, and more than two years after my divorce was finalized. There were multiple pages of frivolous charges, I presume the delay was due to her not keeping any records during the one month period of time I worked with her, and fabricated the vast majority of her charges. In summary, Ms.Gill left the office on medical leave shortly after retaining her services, and did not return to work until approximately one month prior to trial, withheld more than $50,000.00 in funds, and represented me in trial completely unprepared, resulting in vast financial demise.
