I’ve been working with Koussan Law for our provider suits for several years now and their expertise has been invaluable. Told me for years that they were working hard for me, only to find out my case was dismissed! They knew about my case being dismissed and told me they don’t do appeals, I would have to hire out of pocket to get it appealed. I had 4 days left to appeal my case! 2 of those deadline days were a Saturday and Sunday they had known about it for 17 days prior to telling me!!

🔥🔥LONG REVIEW PLEASE READ🔥🔥 I hired the law firm for a slip and fall I encountered at a Meijers bottle return at Three Rivers Michigan in 2020. I received a head injury, 3 reconstructive surgery for my thumbs, neck, jaw, back and hip pain. After a year and half if Koussan Law representing me I was offered $50k. I would have still owed for hospital bills and continued treatments. I was NEVER given any court dates to attend in law suit against Meijers. The law firm tossed me from one attorney to another, different legal assistants, lacked in communication. I had to call them to check on my case. One legal assistant asked me how I was doing? I responded with “I was in a lot of pain”, I had just had surgery August 4th 2025 on my thumb. Her response was she was “sorry to hear that, I’m referring to the surgery you had on the August 4th, how are you doing from the surgery” What else would I be referring to lady? Do you have common sense? FINALLY years into this, I was told that I had an upcoming trial date, AND that the law firm was prepared for the defendants to file a cause to have my case thrown out. They were even so CONFIDENT in my case, that they had yet, another attorney who was SO experienced in trials, that he took over my case, Mathew. *****Meanwhile without being told a trial date, even though court records showed a date, I had emailed inquiring, no response! I finally said I need an offer or court date or I’m going to social media about the way they represented me.******** 🔥I get a response from Mathew, at the deadline I had given, telling me my case had been dismissed and I had 4 days to find a different attorney to appeal the judge’s decision because they don’t do appeals!!!🔥Koussan Law had known about this dismissal 17 DAYS BEFORE THEY TOLD ME!! I made an original google review, they called me, because of the review and said they would recommend some appellate attorneys to me, they gave me one!!! They asked me to take down my review. I complied. Now I have contacted SEVERAL appellate attorneys. It cost out of my pocket $6500-$10,000 to appeal the case. However 3 of them told me to check into legal malpractice on the law firm because of giving me only 4 days to appeal the judges ruling…..when the law firm had 21 days notice and never informed me of the court date or that my case had been dismissed. 💥After consulting several legal malpractice attorneys I was told that I could only go after Koussan Law if I could prove I would have won my case against Meijers. AND that KOUSSAN LAW had done the BARE MINIMUM to represent me!!! 💥 ***Now I’m left without a case after multiple life changing injuries, 5 years of loss wages, and can not find a job for my limitations, meanwhile, being told for years, I was in good hands with Koussan Law and I was being represented to the fullest.*** Shame on you Ali, James and Mathew! And shame on you Meijers. MORAL OF MY STORY DO NOT TRUST A WORD THEY SAY! YOU WOULD THINK IN 2025 when people get injured companies like Miejers wouldn’t get away with “we don’t have a policy for maintaining bottle return floors” as a legal justification to get my case dismissed. They didn’t know the floor was wet….excuse me OVER an hour and half of people returning bottles nobody checks the floor? Bathrooms are maintained better than that and have less people utilizing them!

I had an accident involving Uber I was calling around to see who would take my case since i was the driver and Uber is notorious for giving you the run around I found Koussan Law They took care of me every step of the way and received a substantial amount after all of my medical bills were paid I would definitely recommend this firm because they are caring people who want to see you get justice and I am definitely a satisfied client.
