I was consulting this lawyer in regards to a malpractice suit for my child - where I was unable to follow up at the most twice due to COVID-19 and requiring a follow-up with my child's doctor for full medical records. Most doctors offices are not having in person appointments, so I was awaiting a response from his specialist. I, myself, have had a health scare requiring specialist testing. I received a call while driving and being a law abiding citizen, I meant to reject, however, picked up and hung up. I apologized when the lawyer stated it was rude. It was without ill intention. The following two days, rather than ask me if I am moving forward, I receive a demeaning text message stating although I am highly intelligent, I am not professional. No one deserves this treatment in the wake of a pandemic. It is callous and cruel. I wish them the best in their business, but be courteous to your clients.
