Very helpful in a timely manner. Initially Ron was able to talk via phone the same day I called with questions. Upon needing additional assistance, the turn around time for document review and discussion was short with an appointment offered within 2-3 days. All of my questions were answered directly and professionally without any unneccessary fluff as well as when to seek additional help. I live an hour away, but we were able to do everything via phone/e-mail.
My family was faced with much uncertainty after a roofing company walked away from our contract, leaving our home with unfinished repairs, and demanding we pay them more money.
We contacted Langacker Law and right away their team was empathetic to our situation. Throughout the process their knowledge of the law was remarkable, responsiveness was prompt and concise, and professionalism never diminished.
Langacker Law worked on our behalf to achieve favorable results.
I have much respect for, and I highly recommend the good folks at Langacker Law!
Ron was very direct every step of the way. My case was challenging and he was clear about my options as well as possible outcomes. Jessica was very patient with me not understanding parts of information and was excellent at communicating updates. Both would answer any questions I had in a timely manner. I was very happy to have this team behind me and ultimately was extremely happy with the outcome. I highly recommend them.
The 1 stars are absolutely deserved. It seems that they enjoy being as a rude as possible all the way until someone rudely hangs up on you. If you're into that type of treatment you can get that here.

Mr. Castle--Both Ron and I spoke with you at length and gave you clear and constructive information regarding your potential case. As Ron stated, you have the option to contact the applicable state agencies regarding your claims, or to contact another attorney.
I called his office and he was rude and unhelpful. They want me to do all the work for them and still pay them $10,000. I didn’t retain them because of and based on this situation I would highly recommend you try another law firm. This one only wants shotgun cases that anyone can win.

Mr. Huckleberry—Our records show we had three separate phone calls with you regarding your employment. Our records further indicate that you became verbally abusive toward our legal staff after they explained the statutory requirement that a plaintiff exhaust their administrative remedies prior to a lawsuit being filed in court. When I intervened, you expressed a desire to proceed directly to a trial, which I explained would incur significant legal fees. When I stated that we would not be able to represent you, you hung up. The highest quality of service. They were professional, prompt, courteous, and overall very pleasant to work with. From the beginning I felt like I was in good hands. Admittingly they weren't my only call in initially seeking representation, but they were the ONLY one who offered their services without hesitation. A phone call or email was always met by Jessica or Ron. Each contact was deliberate, meaningful, and progressed us further in my case. Truly a great experience and their customer service was excellent.
Langacker Law insisted on an initial retainer of $10,000 to start, a minimum of a 33 1/3% contingency that would increase to 40% if the case went to trial, and I as the client would be responsible for all legal fees. When I shared the specifics of the hybrid contract draft with trusted employment law attorneys across the country, I was advised that the request from Langacker law was ridiculous. Second, the attorneys confirmed my initial thoughts that employment law cases are usually contingency. The contract was layered with stipulations in where Langacker Law could dissolve the contract. None of the stipulations required reimbursing the 10 grand. Once I shared my concerns, they emailed back stating if you think the hybrid contract is ridiculous then you are welcome to find another attorney. This was disappointing. They agreed not to charge for the initial counsel intake. Considering that they are listed by the Illinois bar association as offering a free counsel intake, I would surely hope not.

Mr. Chambers--I understand that you are upset with the terms of our retainer. However, we maintain that the fee structure we quoted is appropriate based on the fact scenario of your potential claim as well as your expectations for the outcome. Perhaps the other employment attorneys with whom you spoke will be able to assist you in pursuing your potential case.
Jessica and Ron are extremely helpful and willing to listen to the issues I was having with an employer. I would recommend Langacker Law to anyone who as work related problems.
