I had a felony case and 3 misdemeanor because of Mr.Fouche my case was dismissed. It took 4 years because of my county but he did not stop and got the case resolved

I thought he was going to be a decent lawyer because he was willing to work with me on payments to represent my husband. 3 weeks goes by of me paying him I get no call backs every time I called, I received no kind of updates on what was going on. Then he proceeded to try to tell me he didn't receive a notice of my husband's court date which was yesterday. I was supposed to be picking my husband up yesterday evening but Mr. Fouche never showed up to represent my husband. I do not recommend him. He is a sorry excuse of a lawyer I had better luck with a public defender than I did him. At least Thomas O'Donnell called me back the same day or the next day.

Ms. York is correct; I was willing to work with her on payments to represent her husband. She is correct that she made exactly 3 payments. Her initial contact with my office was July 24, 2024, for a court date of July 25, 2024. The name used was Lilac Mitchum. I called her back. On Friday, July 26, 2024, I received a phone message at 4:48 P.M. saying she was supposed to call me yesterday. I returned that call and set up her payments. On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, she said she had not received an email from me to set up the case. The documents she requested were sent on July 31, 2024. Those documents were signed. I filed an Entry of Appearance with the Clerk of Court to let them know I was on the case. I copied the District Attorney's office on that Entry of Appearance. I received phone calls on August 12, 2024, August 14, 2024, and August 21, 2024, and August 22, 2024, which were returned.<br>I had already downloaded her husband's sentence and other probation information but had not received a notice from the Clerk of Court or the District Attorney's Office. On a Thursday, Ms. York called and said her husband was being released and my services were no longer needed. I refunded what she had paid since it was only 3 payments out of 25 to be made. The following day, Friday, Ms. York called and demanded that I withdraw from the case. She said it was my fault he never got out of jail that Thursday. I contacted the Clerk of Court's office and asked if they had sent a notice for a hearing on Ms. York's husband's case. He advised they do not send out notices, the District Attorney sends out the notices. I was never contacted by the District Attorney's Office for a hearing on his case. I filed a Motion to Withdraw from the case that day. I was contacted by the District Attorney's Office the following Monday and asked if I would be there Thursday for his hearing. I advised them that I had filed to withdraw from the case. If I had received notice to attend court, I would have been there. If an attorney misses a court date and it is clear he received notice and should be there, the judge's office or the Clerk of Court will contact that lawyer and ask them where they are. No one from the judge's office or the Clerk of Court contacted me the day Mr. Mitchum had a hearing. The case was simply continued so I could be notified.

Mr. Fouche is not.a competent attorney. He avoids clients, doesn't return calls, and basically takes money to do nothing. He may give the false appearance of meaning well but has no relevant connections and is a lazy attorney. He may respond to this quickly but couldn't quickly perform the simplest of task for me. I had to hire another lawyer and am now free by the grace of God. There are levels to lawyers & he is at the very bottom. Do yourself a favor and hire someone who really cares...

He’s doing the same thing to us right now with my husbands case. Every time we call to talk to him, a different person answers the phone and he NEVER calls us back to give us an update on the case. It’s been over a year since talking to him and the last time we even heard anything about the case was the day we paid for his services. If anyone else has gone through this please email me. I’d be highly interested to know how many other people this wanna be lawyer has taken advantage of. Update: Somehow this review was erased. Its funny how he stated he had no idea who we were yet called us after this initial review went up and told us some bull about he's still waiting to here from the courts and that conversation happened in june of 2023. After that we haven't heard anything, the review got erased and he is still dodging our calls. We can't even get in touch with office personnel because he apparently uses a call center to filter his phone calls. All this guy is going to do is take your money and then not do anything to help you. Save your time and find a different lawyer because he won't do anything for you.

I have no way of knowing whose case is referred to in this review. Depending on the case there may not be any activity on a case for some time. I only contact the client if there is a date that has been set for court, if I need additional information on the case or we need to prepare for a hearing or trial. As far as a different person answering the phone, I use an answering service to answer my calls when I am not in the office. The answering service has different people who answer the phone and I have no control over that. The client is welcome to contact me to discuss their case.

Mr. Larry W. Fouche is a Great Attorney and he very professional at what he does..He keeps up with his clients..He is very responsive... and answer calls or texts in a timely fashion..I highly recommend his services to anybody..One of the best Lawyers in Middle Ga..I'm very satisfied...

Save yourself the headache and frustration. He will seem like he is a nice guy but once he gets paid he become very vindictive and angry just because you simply ask for details about your case . If you want an entitled lawyer who can produce results this is the guy for you ! Seriously find someone else and run
