Law Brothers Sacramento Ca review signals at a glance

I submitted a case review for medical malpractice one week ago. I was told my case would be reviewed and I would receive an answer in 48 hours. I never got a call or email response. I called today to be told “sorry I do see a note here that we would not be able to help you, I do apologize no one contacted you. Let me refer you to someone else and give you a number.” She gives me the number. I ask for the name of the firm. She communicates it is not a firm but it’s a number to a CA attorney search center to refer me to someone new. Needless to say I ended that call. I would not want this firm representing my case. My case involves documented illegal behavior.

They helped me so much with my case. I did not have to stress about figuring things out or what I needed to do. Thank you Mrs. Shirley for all your help. ❤️

Absolutely the worst law firm i have ever dealt with! Zero communication took over a year to settle my case and they ended up making more money than me.

Worst law firm I’ve ever seen in 50 years, they lied to me several times to keep my case on the books for 2 years, I ended up taking a loan out my house and using my retirement savings to keep paying my mortgage, lost my job making 130,000 a year because of my injuries and all i got was $30,000 dollars which I’m still waiting on because they sent a check to my insurance company to pay a bill and they don’t accept checks, this law firm is a scam.

Ms. Leslie has been absolutely amazing to work with. She’s super communicative and always keeps me in the loop, no matter what. Her patience and thoroughness made a huge difference, especially when I had questions or concerns. I truly felt supported and well-informed every step of the way. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a case manager who really cares and delivers!

If I could give them a zero i would. Sucky experience a lot of lessons learned will not fight for you at all especially if u are in a 3 car accident & happen to be the 3rd car. So stay clear from this law firm unless you want to get screwed like I did. Got in a 3 car accident on November 8th 2024 in front of my job which is my kids elementary school I was the 3rd car. My car & the car that was parked behind me both cars was off in park we were sitting & waiting on our kids so of course seat belts were off. My car suffered 12 grand worth of damages to the back end, missed a weeks worth of work just got paid for the month when the accident happen I also suffered from horrible whip lash my back & left knee was messed before the accident but after it made it worse renting a car was a nightmare put in a lot of money towards gas to a car that was not mine had to eat out due to it being hard to cook & at first they seem to be on my side around the end of November toyota collision center asked me why has nobody totaled my car out because 12 grand is half my cars value plus extensive frame damage.( I drive a 2023 toyota corolla se hybrid & hot it brand new time of the accident it had less then 20k miles) I told them I really don't know. Got my car back in the beginning of December still seemed like law brothers was on my side till negotiating settlement in March nobody talked to me asked how I feel about it they settled at 8 grand which was highly unfair told them 12 to 15 grand or take it to court lawyers didn't want to do that made me sign the agreement back in May of 2025 then come to fine out in June I am only getting $1000 from that accident. They screwed me so bad & didn't fight kept saying something about the person at faults insurance was red flags they didn't want to fight them & I wasnt in motion so there was not enough to prove that there was extensive damage to my car or that I was really hurt due to me having sciatic nerve problem, scoliosis along with Arthritis, then also with my knee, giving me issues and have authoritis in my knee before the accident. It's like really whose side are you really on? I didn't ask to be in this accident or to be injured more then i already am. You're supposed to be my lawyer and working for me, you're supposed to be doing what I ask of you instead I got screwed so PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE STAY FAR AWAY.

I had a very disappointing experience with The Law Brothers that involved practices that I believe violated the UDAAP (Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices) laws. From the outset, the firm engaged in misleading behavior regarding fees, case progress, and their ability to handle my case. Things were great when I first started my case, they expressed great compassion and empathy. They stated they want to get me as much money in my pockets as possible, and that every appointment I go to adds value to my case… Unfortunately, they used deceptive tactics and lied to me throughout the process. Not only did they fail to communicate transparently about the status of my case, but they also misrepresented important information regarding fees and outcomes. I trusted this firm to handle my case with integrity, but instead, they took advantage of me financially. When Initially, I was told the lawyers would be taking 33% of the settlement but once I finally came to the end of my case, the 33% turned to 40%. When I asked about that, Abigail said “if your case doesn’t get settled within 60 days, the attorneys get 40%” No one EVER told me that. Also, almost 9,000$ came out of my settlement for medical liens and fees. In the end, the Law Brothers received more money from the settlement than me. The firm initially presented a fee structure that seemed fair, but as the process continued, hidden charges and unexpected fees were added without clear explanation. I was never fully informed about the potential costs. I would caution anyone considering this firm to think twice. I regret my decision to work with them and strongly advise others to seek out a more honest and reliable legal team. This firm seemed more interested in taking my money than providing the legal representation I was promised. Their practices appear to violate basic consumer protection laws. If you believe you’ve been mistreated in a similar way, I encourage you to report these actions to the relevant regulatory authorities which I will be doing as soon as possible.
