Ms. Nancy and her team were great. The divorce process was very stressful, but they were on top of everything and helped me reach an outcome that I was happy with. Good communication, great preparation, and very understanding. I am very satisfied with every aspect of the process. I highly recommend Ms. Nancy and her firm.
Owner response
Thanks, Mike! Even though it was stressful, we managed to have a few laughs along the way! ~Nancy
I arrived at the office demoralized and lost, not knowing what to do or what to expect concerning my impending divorce. Once her first consultation with me was complete and securing her services i immediately felt better. Nancy set a clear plan to help me achieve the realistic goals we both felt could be achieved through divorce mediation. I was always informed and felt I could communicate with her or a paralegal at anytime. They never failed to return my emails, texts or calls and never made me feel regret in choosing this office to help me. During the mediation process Nancy was patient and not judgmental with my needing to process information or take time to grieve. Nancy always had a plan to help set realistic goals for the outcome of the mediation helping me compromise where i needed to and took the fight to the other side when warranted. I believe she got the fairest and best agreement i could have ever hoped for. Please choose Nancy she provided peace of mind in a sea of confusion and emotional distress.
Owner response
Thank you, Mike. It was tough, but we got through it with the best outcome for you. ~ Nancy
This review documents the ongoing pattern of inaction, lack of urgency, and failure to meet basic professional standards exhibited by Nancy throughout her involvement in my case. Her conduct significantly harmed my ability to protect my rights and my daughter’s well-being during a highly sensitive and urgent legal process.
⸻
1. Failure to Act During an Emergency
I approached Nancy desperate and in an emergency situation involving my divorce and my daughter’s safety. I made it clear that immediate legal intervention was needed.
Despite the urgency, Nancy took no meaningful action to address the situation or to move the case forward.
⸻
2. Ignoring Violations of the Temporary Orders
I repeatedly informed Nancy about multiple violations of the Temporary Orders, providing details and evidence.
She failed to:
• file any motions,
• advise me on immediate remedies,
• notify the court,
• or take any steps to enforce the orders or protect my parental rights.
Her lack of response left me vulnerable during moments that required urgent legal action.
⸻
3. Failure to Present Key Evidence in Court
One of the most serious issues was that Nancy did not present crucial evidence in court, evidence that was necessary to support my claims, demonstrate the violations, and show the pattern of behavior affecting my child and this case.
This omission directly weakened my position and affected the court’s ability to fully understand the facts.
⸻
4. Lack of Follow-Through and Progress
Throughout her time on my case, Nancy did not prepare essential filings, did not follow up on critical issues, and did not provide a timeline or structure for how we would proceed. The case stagnated under her management.
⸻
5. Poor Communication
Nancy consistently failed to respond promptly to messages—sometimes not responding at all—especially when the matters were time-sensitive or related to court deadlines. This forced me to handle complicated legal issues without proper support.
⸻
6. No Strategy or Guidance
Despite my requests for direction, she did not offer a clear strategy, actionable advice, or explanation of the steps needed in my case. I was left without proper representation during a complex legal process.
⸻
7. Withdrawal Only After Being Confronted
It was only after I confronted her about her inaction and lack of results that she expressed the desire to withdraw from my case. This timing demonstrates avoidance of accountability rather than a professional decision made in my best interest.
⸻
8. Harm Caused to My Case
Because of her negligence:
• evidence was not presented,
• violations were ignored,
• deadlines were missed or delayed,
• and my legal position was weakened unnecessarily.
Her inaction caused avoidable stress, confusion, and disadvantage at critical moments.
⸻
Conclusion
Nancy’s failure to act during an emergency, her refusal to address violations of the Temporary Orders, and her omission of key evidence in court represent serious breaches of professional duty.
This review is submitted to document the harm caused by her inaction and to ensure that future representation meets the standard required to protect my rights and my daughter’s well-being.
I generally do not leave reviews but Nancy and her team compelled me to do otherwise. Simply put they were amazing. They are knowledgeable, attentive, and very professional. They responded to my questions and concerns extremely fast with actionable results. They also eliminated any extra appointments, court dates, or meetings. They really streamlined the process. Thanks to you and your team Nancy.

Thanks, Reuben! We enjoyed working with you as always! ~Nancy
Phenomenal professional assistance with your divorce needs, within an efficient timeframe. In my opinion. This law office is knowledgeable, due to the leadership of Nancy P. Eaton. Which gave me a satisfactory results in the settlement of my divorce. I was able to have a weight of relief off my shoulders, putting my case in their hands. The price tag for that feeling, I feel is reasonable as well. Greatly appreciate you Nancy P. Eaton.
Owner response
Thank you so much, Andrew! I'm so happy your case went so smoothly! ~Nancy
I texted the contact box in the lower righthand corner, and expected to be asked about scheduling an appointment with the normal initial hourly rate at a later time. Instead, Jacob called me directly, and we discussed my situation. He is not a lawyer, but had key legal insights and assistance. I'm a medical retiree with15 years of Service. He was similar. With every question I had, which initially felt specific to my situation, he was actually very familiar with and asked pertinent questions. He answered all of my questions, offering for me to speak to a legal representative, if I wanted. However, he had all the information I needed, with key details, insights, and processes only a person who has been through the same thing would have. They charged me NOTHING even though, he spent plenty of time with me. I had just been taken for money from another prominent local lawyer, who took advantage of me, charging for Services he did not perform based on fine print legalese. In contrast to this, I would describe my conversation with Jacob, and the help he provided, as a Godsend. Saved me thousands, and restored my confidence that there are not just ethical lawyers out there, but competent and caring ones who have a remarkable staff, also.
Owner response
Thank you! Jacob is a huge wealth of knowledge on all things military for the soldiers. I’m touched that he could help you. ~Nancy
Nancy and her office were extremely compassionate, honest, fair, and were amazing to work with. Do NOT waste time searching for other counsel, this should be your last stop in the search for a family attorney. My case had to do with property, a divorce, and there was not a question she didn't have an answer to. She made me feel calm, assured and taken care of. I have dealt with terrible attorneys in the past and she is not one of them. Knowledge and experience combined with empathy and helpfulness is what we all look for in an attorney at law and that is exactly what I received. She will be my go to attorney in the future for anything that she can provide help for. 5 stars isn't enough in this case! Thank you Nancy, nobody hopes to need an attorney in life but if we need one you sure are what we are all looking for!
Owner response
Thank you, Dan! We were so glad we took care of your case so easily! ~Nancy
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience working with the Law Office of Nancy Perry Eaton. I wanted to expedite a divorce I had started rather than wait many months for multiple Pro-Se clinic meetings to alter a word here or there on the various forms I had completed.
I originally reached out to Nancy Perry Eaton in a cold call, and her front desk got me set up for a brief consult very quickly. She understood the timeliness frustration of the Pro-Se process as conducted in Bell County, and was very amenable to getting things resolved quickly. The retainer was absolutely reasonable for the peace of mind, and staff were very quick to apply any minor corrections or clarifications as needed.
I hope I don't need her services again (in a good way!) but know who I'll reach out to in the future!
Owner response
Thanks, Bryan! It's not often when someone comes into our office with a thoroughly enjoyable experience due to types of cases we handle. Best wishes in the future! ~Nancy
I can’t recommend Nancy and her team highly enough!
They handled my divorce with compassion, professionalism, and incredible attention to detail. Throughout the entire process, I always felt supported and informed. Nancy made sure I understood every option available and fought for the best possible outcome.
Thanks to her expertise and dedication, an overwhelming experience felt so much more manageable. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about their clients and knows how to get results, Nancy is the one to trust!
Owner response
Thanks, Paige! Your case was intellectually challenging, but we landed on the right side of the law. ~Nancy
