Omar is an honest man that works with his clients to achieve their goals. He tells them all that he is at first their guide with the law, their legal analyst and lastly their advocate to accomplish what they are needing to do. Whether it’s family law, personal injury, business litigation or immigration. He does what he is hired to do to the best of his ability and has for over 24 years. I am his wife and see first hand day in and out how dedicated he is to his clients and the integrity of his work.

I hired Omar Cura in 8/2017 (second attorney) to help me protect my children from their father. Almost 5 years later, thousands of dollars later and having to hire an amicus attorney for my children he accused me of having an outstanding balance that I told him repeatedly was paid in full. He disrespected me, took my money, did absolutely nothing for my case but had it prolonged and rescheduled numerous times in court. After providing important detailed information to him he never returned calls or emails so the amicus attorney handled the case and got my children the protection they needed. When he finally returned my call was after he received a court order with date and time to appear in court. After reading a disturbing email he sent me I then provided him all my paid invoices that he never updated on his records. Then he has the nerve to want an additional retainer of $1250 because I used up the original retainer fee of $2500. I was livid I fired him as my attorney. 10 days later he sends me the motion to withdraw which I signed and emailed right back. A week later which is now the day of court Omar Cura had to still appear in court as my attorney because he failed to withdraw as my attorney. Oh then he showed up in court without a tie! The judge was not happy and neither was I. Find yourself a better attorney.

Very approachable and knowledgeable, especially with family law. But, my understanding is that he handles personal injury and criminal cases as well.

This law office is run by a family member--2nd cousin-- (Omar Cura Jr). I believe he is very honest and affordable. I believe his specialty is immigration law and also adoptions. Please give him your business as he is very honest and doesnt try to scam anyone with any extra fees. He is really one of the good ones. Give him a call. You won't regret it.

He's a lawyer dedicated to his cases and doesn't just treat clients as his source of income. The treatment I've received is exceptional, whenever I can reach him. He sees the human side of every situation and works tirelessly. I've been in his hands for seven years and I completely trust his ethics and human qualities.
