Just my opinion based on my experience. I had a great conversation before they got my money. After that I had one more conversation with a lawyer about my case, when they called hours late to say they’d call back the next day. They didn’t, and as my hearing grew closer and closer I kept emailing and calling for info. When I could get a response, which was very difficult, no one could tell me anything. Day of the hearing the guy who showed up had no idea charges hadn’t even been filed! When I asked for a partial refund they said no, in part because the work they were doing on my case prevented them from taking other cases. Really? I never got the impression that anyone had put in any work at all on my case. Being charged with a crime is serious. Would you want a lawyer that handled your case like this?
