I inquired about legal assistance for a family trust issue and never heard back. Hillberg even knows all my family there so I thought he would be the best to help. Disappointed.

Please save yourself major headaches and confusion and choose a different attorney. Our family has been dealing with him for months on end. The professionalism is sadly lacking. There's no communication between the receptionist, the legal assistant and the attorney. You talk to one person and get an update, the next day nobody knows a thing. They all display a shocking lack of competence and knowledge in their supposed specialty. Several relatives and the title company representative have talked to the lawyer several times and months later, we are still waiting for something to be corrected. We have had in person meetings, and phone conversations with the attorney, legal assistant and receptionist, to no avail. We needed an attorney to file some amended notarized documents with the courts. His filings were rejected by the courts numerous times and returned to out-of-state family members to be redone over and over. Although our family, the notaries, and the title company have done everything we can to assist in this matter, they are strangely apathetic and unmotivated to do the job for which they were hired. We shall be filing a complaint with the State Bar of California and the Better Business Bureau if this is not resolved immediately. The Griffin Family

This lawyer has efficient, articulate & friendly office staff-Mr. Hillberg is very caring and respectful-no nonsense legal advice and they don’t charge a consultation fee is what I love about them! Crazy how so many other attorneys think their time is so important and so expensive they charge people to even talk to them! Highly recommend using Ronald Hillberg.

Very knowledgeable attorney for setting up trusts, wills & inheritance related matters, but so slow at doing their job be prepared to pay late fees to everyone because they won't get anything done in a reasonable amount of time. They billed me for reading emails my mom sent him and for emailing my mom many years ago. They also charged me every time i dropped off any papers that Attorney Hillberg asked for. My mom has been dead almost a year and they have not done anything they are supposed to do, they haven't changed the trust, notified the tax collector,(or anyone) of my mother's death. Attorney Hillberg asked for some different papers so he could take care of some things, like cashing some uncashed checks, but nothing has been done. I talked briefly to a couple ladies who work for another local law firm and they couldn't believe that he billed me for emails between him and my mom and dropping off papers and how Hillbergs office hasn't taken care of anything concerning my moms death or trust. I am seriously considering going to this other attorney whose employees I spoke with.

I had a bad experience with this law office almost two years ago, and I’m still disappointed with the results. I paid money, not rock sir. They gave me a poorly typed Conservatorship which almost every office doesn’t accept. Zero experience with customer service. Idk they hate their job or aren’t getting paid enough. Please don’t waste your money and find a better attorney.

Mr. Hillberg is one of the worst attorneys I've ever had. He treated me disrespectfully and disregarded my needs to be the best trustee for my father's estate. Do not hire him.
