I am absolutely blown out of my mind!! A relative of mine recently had court and the judge informed my relative that they need to "file a motion" on their own. We left the courtroom only to be chased down by Ms. Ruth Orange. She hands my relative a handwritten page and says "I wrote the motion for you. All you have to do is sign, date, and turn it in." I was shocked and said "Are you a lawyer?" She said "Yes I am." I said "And you didnt have to do all this?" And she said "No I didn't but I felt bad about the situation and want (my relative) to have a fair shot." We thanked her and she said she had to get back to the courtroom for her clients but she turned around and said "My name is Ruth Orange." We again thanked her. All Im saying is that if this is something she would do for someone who isn't her client, I can only imagine what she would do for someone who is her paying client. You can tell that she enjoys being an attorney and shows very much empathy for others. You really do not find many people like her in the justice system. If I ever need legal representation in the future, Ms. Orange will be the obvious choice.
