A year ago, I received a call that no Mom wants to recieve. My youngest son was in jail in Denton Tx while attending college and I was living in Austin. My heart was broken and I couldn't think straight. I googled attorneys in Denton and Suzanne Stevens name came up. She had 5 star reviews from everyone. I looked at other attorneys but something kept pulling me back to her name, so I called the number. To my amazement, SHE actually answered her phone (not a receptionist)!! Through my tears, I explained what I knew about his arrest. She gave me the name of a bondsman and told me to tell him that Suzanne Stevens told me to call him. Then she said, "You have my number. Call me if you have any more questions or need me to represent him". I drove that night to Denton and called her after reading his bond conditions which said he couldn't leave Denton Co. Within 3 business days of retaining her, she had my son's bond conditions amended so I could take him home. Suzanne gave me one price. She said "no hidden fees", and she meant that! She is the most kindest, thoughtful, straight forward person you'll ever meet and she goes above and beyond to help you! She is so knowledgeable about the law and because of her creativity and diligence, she helped my son get into the PTD program for his case. He ended up going back to college and graduated with his Bachelor's in May! Without her help, he wouldn't have had that opportunity. I am SO GRATEFUL to her and she has truly been a GOD sent!
