Mr. Todd Cushner helped me at one of the most vulnerable moments in my life. The care and dedication he gave me in my time of need were phenomenal. His knowledge of the law put my mind at ease. I would recommend him highly if you ever have the need for an bankruptcy attorney.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Todd Cushner during a challenging time in my life as I navigated through the bankruptcy process. From our initial consultation to the final resolution of my case, Mr. Cushner exhibited exceptional professionalism and expertise.
I had a very concerning experience with this attorney after paying a $500 retainer for a bankruptcy consultation while I was dealing with a housing issue. He told me he could not file bankruptcy unless I first paid one month’s rent into landlord-tenant court, but when I contacted the court they said no such requirement existed. When I asked him to clarify, he could not provide an explanation, so I requested a refund. Getting the refund required sending a certified letter, and I eventually received only $350 because $150 was deducted for a “credit report” I never received or saw evidence of. I decided to move on, but months later I began receiving invoices from the office totaling about $2,700 even though no bankruptcy was filed. During the consultation he also showed me a nude photograph he claimed another client had sent him, which I found extremely inappropriate in a professional setting. Overall, the confusing legal guidance, billing issues, and unprofessional conduct made this a very uncomfortable experience.
I was delighted with the exceptional and professional experience at this legal firm. Every detail was addressed, along with guidance and support throughout the entire process! My earnest regards to the whole team. Thank you for a quick, but diligent process.
Todd Cushner was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout my bankruptcy case. He clearly explained the process, was always responsive, and made a stressful situation much more manageable. I highly recommend Todd to anyone needing a reliable and honest bankruptcy attorney.
Right from the very start, everyone and Todd Cushner’s Law firm were not only polite and friendly, but held my hand every step of the way. They never made me feel shame at having to declare bankruptcy, but were there with help and kindness every step of the way. Todd, Emily, and everybody in the firm are simply terrific to me and my husband. I thank them profusely for the handholding and the attention they gave me. I can’t recommend them strongly enough.
100% Recommend. Todd and his team were fantastic. Process was quick and easy. I never felt judged or as if I was doing something wrong. I chose Todd not because of the reviews but due to our conversation during my consultation. At that point I knew he wasn't there to squeeze me for what ever cash I had left (unlike what another attorney at a different practice tried to do) but that he actually wants to make sure people get out of the situation they are in.
Mr. Cushner and his staff are the best in business very informative and straightforward. My process was pretty fast I started in July and life changed for me October I couldn’t be more grateful. Thanks again
