I scheduled an appointment with this office regarding my wife’s H-1B visa. Initially, I was informed that the earliest available appointment would be in three days. After those three days passed, I received a call stating that the attorney was sick and asking if I wanted to reschedule for another three days later. Assuming this was a one-time situation, I agreed. When the new appointment day arrived, my wife and I both arranged our schedules and headed to their office for our 9:00 AM appointment. However, at 8:44 AM—when I was just two minutes away from their location—I received another call informing me that the attorney was sick again and the appointment would need to be rescheduled. Considering that the H-1B filing window is extremely time-sensitive, this level of unreliability is very concerning. We lost valuable time and work hours due to these last-minute cancellations. If timing and professionalism are important for your case, this experience raises serious concerns about the reliability of this service.

We understand how important timing can be when immigration matters such as H-1B filings are involved.<br>During the time of your scheduled consultation, Attorney Anderson, who was expected to conduct the meeting, had to take unexpected emergency leave due to a sudden matter. Unfortunately, this situation developed quickly and we were not able to provide as much advance notice as we normally aim to give when adjustments to the schedule are required. We certainly wish we could have informed you sooner.<br><br>Because you were scheduled for an initial consultation and not yet a client of the firm, we understand that the experience may have been particularly frustrating after arranging your schedules and traveling toward the office. That was never our intention, and we appreciate you bringing the situation to our attention.<br><br>If you and your wife would still like to speak with someone at our office, we would be happy to waive the consultation fee and make every effort to schedule a time that works best for you.<br><br>You may contact our office at (203) 753-7300 if you wish to reschedule. I had a terrible experience with an attorney I went to, prior to attorney Welcome. Let me just say this, from the moment I called until the moment the immigration interview was over, I had nothing but the best experience. The paralegals who work in the office are so attentive, professional, and understanding. James Welcome always made an effort to say hello, update, and sometimes personally answer phone calls when the other staff were helping others. They put together, sent out, and updated our application/ process thoroughly and in a timely fashion. Attorney Marina Brakefield had to accompany us to the interview since James was unavailable that day. She is so knowledgeable and well experienced that I had no hesitations. She made us feel ready, calm, and confident throughout the entire process. I whole heartedly recommend either attorney to help you if you are in need. You can count on them as well as their well experienced and professional staff to make sure you are up to date with any information. They will go above and beyond to answer your questions and make themselves available every time. Thank you to the entire team.

I am Canadian and married a USA citizen, I applied for Permanent Residence in May and got my green card in November. Attorney James Welcome, talks very little but worked hard and fast . I’m extremely grateful for the help and stress free. Very professional and effective. Thank you !

Highly recommend for immigration purposes. From what I’ve observed and experienced, they’ve gone above and beyond their responsibilities and duty to me, they’ve contacted the country and obtain papers that I could not do even with relatives.
