I am going to go ahead and give Attorney Mr. Coker a 1 star rating. It is currently Friday, 10-31-25. Have been dealing with a CDL "refusal to test" issue with FMCSA Clearinghouse. Had to do with a helicopter aviation company based out of Thurston County. Needed an employment attorney. First made contact with him around October 7th, $200 consult fee. I took his advice about what to do, and basically it didn't work out for me. His advice didn't work out for me. Been trying to get ahold of him all week, since Monday. He finally calls me at 8am in the morning on Wednesday and leaves a voice-mail. I then proceed to try and get in contact with him the same day, Wednesday, then all thru Thursday and Friday via calling the office and e-mail. Nothing. Na-da. It is currently Friday. How hard is it to take 5 minutes out of your day and return a phone call or reply to an e-mail?

I need a lawyer and it took some time finding anyone that would even listen to me. Finally I called this place, the receptionist listened to me which I was very grateful for, then told me I made the right decision calling and then she said "Normally we charge a $200 consultation fee, but you dont need to pay that right away, just come in and talk to us ok" is exactly what she said, so I stopped looking for a lawyer and waited until today. Once I got to their office, the receptionist (probably the same person) told me that I DO need to pay the $200 consultation fee and even looked slightly displeased to hear me echo what I originally heard her say. Im really confused now and honestly upset that I was misinformed probably by the same woman, and had my time wasted. Hope this review helps someone else.

I’ve gone to Coker more than once for employment consultations. He offered little advice and ended up saying he usually represents employers or unions and I should file a complaint to the EEOC. Don’t waste your money.

Words cannot fully express the positive experience I had with the representation provided by Younglove Coker & Rhodes, PLLC. My representative, Gregory M. Rhodes, demonstrated transparency, authenticity, cultural humility and genuine compassion from the very beginning. He was consistently mindful and respectful of my emotional well-being throughout the process. The staff maintained clear and consistent communication, and the overall environment was welcoming and professional. Based on my observations, other clients also appeared satisfied with the quality of care and service they received. I sincerely thank YC&R for guiding me through such an emotionally challenging time with integrity and empathy. Thank you, Rion L Tisino

Be mindful! I scheduled an appointment for a consultation with Mr. Coker. When I arrived to my appointment I was told I would be seen by someone else. Unfortunately, the young apprentice was not helpful at all and I wasted my money. Won’t go back. Update: Had a follow-up appointment with Mr. Cooker. He is friendly, knowledgeable and detailed and gave me very helpful information.

I was walked in on while pumping at work. I went here for help. The lawyer looked up the wrong law and said there was nothing he could do…. Yeah because you looked up a completely different law regarding breastfeeding and pumping. The law that pertains to my case is RCW 43.10.005 (viii). The one he looked up was RCW 43.70.640 which only applies to places of business that want a "infant-friendly" on its promotional materials. The whole experience with this law office felt like a waste of my time talking with a lawyer that is not able.

Horrible experience all around. $200 consultation fee upfront, and Mr. Younglove wasn't even taking our case seriously despite all the evidence and witnesses we had. He was actually discouraging us from suing because we "wouldn't be getting a lot back" in missing/lost wages and told us to wait and see what L&I did. But, if we got more people who were also missing wages to join in, he might reconsider. Translation: "You're not worth my time because I'd barely make any money off your case." He takes 33% - 40% of whatever the client is awarded, but only if they win. And, no. You don't get your $200 back if he decides not to take your case.
