I am very thankful for my attorney and the way she handled my custody case from the very beginning. She was patient, understanding, and took the time to explain everything clearly. She did not rush the process and made sure every detail was addressed, which gave me peace of mind during a very stressful time. Ms. Teresa Lewis , and I met lil bit over a year ago , she became my court appointed lawyer . My first time sitting down with her we talked , cried laughed and rejoiced . She is definitely a god fearing woman . We literally talk for about 3 hours . I told her my life story and how i got put into the situation , facing felony charges against me , she was able to get them dismissed not only did she know how hard it had been for me . But she also helped me pay on fines , I’m sorry you guys that have painted a bad review of her , but in my eyes she is the best ! I will say this … she is a emailing person and not phone ! I had a consultation with Ms.Lewis about 2 weeks ago and the information that she provided was most helpful. She was patient with my questions, read my file while I waited and spoke to me in a way that i could understand legal terms and processes. She could have easily taken advantage of my eagerness and legal ignorance but she did not. She explained the potential cost to benefit and provided me with a peace of mind and calmness that I have not had in almost 6 months. For that, I am grateful. Literally lost a case for me on a crime I had NO part in. Let the state say I was in a house I haven't ever been within 10 miles of. She either sold me out for a kick back or she likes sending people to prison. if you get her as a public defender by all means... beg the court for a new one. She also text during court and is the least professional lawyer I've ever met. DO NOT HIRE THIS SCAM ARTIST... SHE BELONGS BEHIND BARS FOR CALLING HERSELF A LAWYER.

This lady is awful!!! She is unprofessional. I wouldn't even give her 1 star! Hard work is something she knows nothing about. If you go to jail an she is your lawyer I hope you no how to get yourself out.

I would like to make a comment on the services of Attorney at Law, Teresa R. Lewis. My experience with this attorney has been horrible, she will write crappy documents with plenty of typing errors, incorrect names and is totally unprofessional, she will take your money without doing any work. I also sent her another client and she took his money without doing any work and gave him misleading and incorrect information. She only cares about getting paid at the same time providing a limited amount of services. Use at your own risk!
