Joe Riccio and his colleague Maggie were absolutely amazing. From start to finish, they were incredibly responsive to every email and phone call and always made us feel heard and supported. They were attentive, caring, and took the time to explain everything clearly so we truly understood the process and what to expect. In court, they exceeded our expectations and got us everything we asked for. Because of their hard work and dedication, we were finally able to have all four of our kids together for Christmas, which was an incredible and emotional way to end the year. Don’t come to Joseph Riccio. In the very beginning of coming to this lawyer has made me regret coming to him for my car accident. We had gotten into an accident. Same car two different cases. We had to constantly ask for any updates on the case and every time we did, they acted like it was a big deal about wanting to know what’s going on. They would either respond with a very short response or a more anger regulated response of paragraphs trying to explain patience. It’s not like I was asking every single day or once a week. I would ask like every other month. When all I simply ever asked for was an update since nobody would let us know what’s going on for months at a time. Months into the case we got suggested to do these shots that are supposed to help the pain. However, we both denied them and explained to them that we don’t feel comfortable doing them and chose not to do it. They obviously got upset about us rejecting it mainly me because I said yes at first. I did my research and my family asked me to not do it so I did back out seeing the consequences of the shots. Instead of the lawyer respecting my decision he decided to have me and my husband come into the office just for him to try to convince me once again to take the shots. Which was so unnecessary and a waste of my time and money. I was set on my decision and for the lawyer to try to pressure me into changing my mind for his wealth and not my well being was so uncalled for and rude. I had to take time out of my day and go there for maybe 15 minutes for something that wasn’t needed. But he didn’t want me to take the shots for me to feel better, he wanted me to take them because it would make my case have more payout knowing they could get more money. They had said anything they could; nonstop bringing up how much I could make for doing it while saying I will be in more pain because of the shots. They had treated us both differently. While they were nicer to me they were rude and treated my husband worse. They gave my husband constant attitude while talking to me the complete opposite. They would purposely only call me because I’m not the best with calls but my husband was and was more firm on things. They avoided contacting him anytime they can. At the end when the whole case was finally over. I got my settlement first the lawyer gave me a folder to put everything in and also gave me a camera. I’d like to state they also had no problem squeezing me in on their schedule when there were apparently booked. They helped me within a couple minutes of me sitting there. Weeks later my husbands came in. He tried to communicate with them when he can come in since he works during the hours they’re open. They wouldn’t squeeze him in until he stated that he only has Friday’s available since he works 10 hour shifts. When he said that that’s when they finally decide to squeeze him in. They took about 10-15 minutes to even get to him. And all they gave him is the paper of the settlement held together by a paper clip and didn’t give him a camera nor folder.

My wife and i were in an accident in Feb 2023, we immediately contacted Joe and his office. They handled all actions right away. We were able to rest and they got us set up with physical therapy through a fantastic company. They worked diligently on our case and we couldn’t be more happy. Our case took a while unfortunately because the other persons insurance was giving us problems, but in the end, their efforts paid off and I am thrilled with the service. I would highly recommend Marathon Law Group to anyone dealing with legal matters. They have been top notch all throughout.
