Mark C. Curran Jr Attorney at Law

Mark Curran provided some of the worst legal representation I have ever experienced. He put no meaningful effort into my case — he forgot court dates, failed to respond to my concerns, and ultimately blamed me for problems caused by an abusive family member. He routinely could not remember basic details of my case and neglected to review paperwork he was required to read. When a deal was reached, he emailed me documents to sign — except they were the wrong documents entirely, and he never bothered to verify them before sending. I had submitted records for him to review and had to follow up with him multiple times asking whether he had received them. Each time he said no. After weeks of this, he finally admitted he had not been to his office to check his mail because he was focused on other cases and campaigning for public office. I am not exaggerating. I have left reviews of Mr. Curran in the past, and he has retained legal counsel to have them removed. I would treat any positive reviews of his practice with significant skepticism, as he has a pattern of suppressing critical feedback to manage his online reputation.

So I used their chat feature two days in a row and was told someone would get back to me.. Didn't happen. Then I called on Friday and left a message just asking for you know courtesy to tell me whether or not they would even consider talking to me... Never heard back. Could be the greatest attorney in the world, however my opinion based on the lack of simple common courtesy is get somebody else because clearly a person whose job is to effectively communicate fails miserably. And if you are the lucky one that gets to hire him? Yeah don't expect a whole lot of communication. This is what they're paid for. It is the most simple and basic decent thing to do as a human being. Don't lie to potential clients it definitely don't ignore them. But what do you expect from a lawyer?

Super knowledgeable, very attentive, listened to everything I had to say and presented his opinions on a very factual way. Even though they weren’t what I was hoping for he explained everything very thoroughly

Mr Curan seems to have alot of knowledge when it comes to mental illness and prisoners
