My father who is over 80 years old was in an accident with a drunk driver who jumped off median, went through grass and over into the next lane and hit my dad's car. He totaled my dads car. The drunk driver did not have any insurance and since my dad did not have full coverage on car Geico was not going to cover anything. My dad's air bags deployed and everything. Dad was pretty banged up. Now here is where the magic happens. We called Mcdivitt's office, made a statement and was called the next day by a lawyer (Tom Dwyer). Excellent service, I still can't believe that they don't get paid until after they get a settlement. Top notch service. We had the pleasure of working with Tom Dwyer and Cari Taylor. They both went above and beyond in dealing with everything. They got my dad physical therapy, and made sure the bill and settlement was taken care of. I can't believe how much work Cari had to put in dealing with the insurance. The whole situation would have been a nightmare to deal with. They got My dad a settlement and they made sure that his health was taken care of through Geico. They treated us like as if we were a high paying client. The service we got was amazing. Very professional, efficient and caring. I always see the commercials saying if you are in an accident to make sure to give them a call because they are ABSOLUTELY Correct. My dad would have received nothing from Geico if it were not for them. Thank you McDivitt team for such great service and for taking such good care of my dad. I was injured in a construction accident that permanently left me a paraplegic. I remember being in the hospital realizing that my career of 25 years was over, and that I was no longer capable of providing for myself or my family. I also had to focus on recovering as much as possible for my loved ones and adapting to my disability. I called McDivitt law firm because I needed someone who would stand up for me, and make sure that I was treated fairly by the insurance companies. I received that and more from them.
There were so many things that had to be addressed to put my life back together after my accident. Disability from the state had to be applied for, the workman's compensation insurance company had to be negotiated with to make sure my future medical needs were met, hospital and medical bills had to be paid, house modifications had to be done to make my place handicap accessible, automobile modifications had to be done, payment for pain and suffering and job loss from my injury had to be addressed. There was all of that and much more. McDivitt had a team of professionals put together for each phase of my case and recovery to help me day or night with tough decisions, questions I might have, or even if I just needed to ease my mind and talk. They not only stood up for my rights, but also cared about my well being. I also found their percentage method of payment comforting. Knowing that I would not have an attorney bill when this was all over was a huge relief, and allowed the decisions made to be based on importance and not affordability. I feel that McDivitt did a great job with all phases of my case and would recommend them to anyone who has had an accident and needs help.

WOW it has been one long road. Let me say this if you don’t have a dash cam get one. If I didn’t have mine I would be fitting all my medical bills. I first called Heuser & Heuser law firm biggest mistake the person stated yes they would take my case. I sent my dash cam video of the whole accident to Heuser & Heuser. Well not only having to deal with my pain, my truck wrecked I also had extreme stress dealing with Heuser & Heuser. I had to call them a hundred times to get even any response from them. Weeks went by never receiving any calls from them. Then a month pass I get a letter that they will not represent your case anymore you could imagen the letdown and all the time wasted just to start over. Lucky I didn't stop there I placed a call to McDivitt which should have been my only choice, I sent my dash cam video and they accepted my case. McDivitt setup a doctor’s appointment and the ball was moving within the first week wow what a difference a great law firm makes. Short version a year of therapy and now one year of injections for future pain I thought this would never end. I get the call from Jordan it is settled. My prayers and so many thanks goes out to all those that help us thru this accident issues. I really have to give a huge shout out to Jordan D. McAdams and Monique Sanks if you ever have to use this law firm make sure this team is on your case wow so personal, caring beyond belief and resolved the case without going to court getting the asking amount such an awesome team.

Everyone we worked with was always so kind and would express their concerns, would inquire about how we are holding up, and how our injuries were healing. Our lawyer, Stephen Longo and his paralegal, Madelayne were on top of keeping us appraised on how our case was progressing. They never made us feel that we were just another client, but rather would take a real interest in the the case, and when it came to fighting the insurance companies, he’s a real bulldog. He knows how to get it done. You don’t see their commercials don’t say we got só & só this $ amount, or people professing how much the firm got them. This is not what McDivitt cares about, they care about helping the person to get through dealing with insurance by doing the work for them so that all the person has to concentrate on getting well. My experience with mcdivitt was wonderful. My attorney was Aaron Kennedy and man was it nice to finally have someone to be my voice and fight for me. I had already had this case open for a long while and everyone was telling me I needed an attorney cause I kept falling through the cracks (thats what the nurse case manager told me before mcdivitt). Anywho they took my case and Aaron understood what I needed. My case manager was Jessica godsoe and she was just as amazing. Always answered my calls and lots of questions. Bless her for being so patient with me through the whole process. I finally after almost 2 yrs was able to close my case and get my settlement. Leah riutzel was also just so nice. Everyone who works there had such an empathy and understanding. I hope to never have to go through this process again but if it were to happen, I'll be back. You’re already insanely stressed and feel like you’re in the dark when you’re going through a workers comp situation or when hiring your first attorney and don’t know what to expect, but they made the journey smooth sailing for the most part. I wish I had something positive to say about McDivitt Law but, I don't. It was a total nightmare from day one, I got the impression that Joel was intemimated by opposing council he kept asking me "why are they being so mean is there something I need to know, "it seemed like the the whole time he was interrogating me he would ask me the same thing over and over. He was playing both sides he was not trying to get me very much money at all he said they don't have to pay my medical bills, pain and suffering, or loss, so what exactly did the insurance company have to pay, I'm still not sure. I know. Their commercial says they will not allow you to settle for less than you deserve that is not true at all. Joel was telling me what he knew I wanted to hear but truly he was working for the insurance company not me, he told me an amount that sounded really good to me at first, and when opposing counsel came back with a very low offer he convinced me to take it because he said I would probably not get anything at all if I went to court so I decided to just settle after over a year of waiting with no income whatsoever not being able to return to work due to the injuries I sustained where I drag my foot. In my line of work it would be dangerous. My career, where I had four more years to retire with full benefits ended , I had to settle for half of my benefits because as an iron worker it would be dangerous and also there is no light work so basically my career was over. He also did not try to get me any workman's comp benefits at all I had zero income for over a year. I highly do not recommend McDivitt Law!. They are shysters.

My lawyer was Aaron. I was injured at work on LOA and I wasn't getting paid all that I was owed. May of 2024 I had a dog attack from a neighbor's dog there was a separate criminal case with animal control and McDevitt took my case took a little bit over a year ago and gave me an advance so I can get started on my air conditioner being installed and got my final balance settlement today. Ali and Joe and my team were all awesome answering all my questions and got even more in my settlement for my portion of the medical that got reduced. The only other time I needed an attorney was for disability a few years ago so this was my first experience with hiring an attorney.

I hired them to help with a workman's comp case. It has been 90 days, and I still have no answers to the questions I have. I have asked since a month after my injury and receiving no pay, how much I should be getting, and how often I should be getting a payment. I have gotten 3 payments from Workman's Comp in 3 months, and none of those payments have been the same amount. All I have been told is that I'm still owed money, but no one knows how much. My doctors office called my attorney and asked for claims information and was given the wrong information. Nobody knows anything about my case to the point that people are calling me asking for information about my case. Seemed like the only time anything was done on my case was when I called and asked what was going on with it. They told me that they give their case workers a 24-hour window to respond to emails, I have at least 10 emails that never got a response. After calling and asking the same questions, I still have no answers. All they have done is sit and wait to see what workman's comp is going to do, then collect their portion of your money. They are not a proactive lawfirm, they are reactive. They refuse to give any information. If you ask through email how much you're supposed to get paid and how often, or when your supposed to get your back pay, they will stop responding or make up excuses on why they don't have that information. 90 days, and I still don't know how much I'm to be paid. The only thing I know is I should be getting paid every 2 weeks. Yet I still don't know how much or how much back pay they still owe me. I don't recommend them if you're expecting a law firm to fight for you because they do none of that.
I am really satisfied with McDivitt. They are really good about checking up on you and making sure everything is good on their end. I would highly recommend them. Thank you guys for everything you have done. You guys are the best!

10 STARS!!!!! McDivitt miraculously helped me switch my life around after a car accident. After my car accident I bought a car that was a complete failure and put me in debt. I was involved in an auto accident 12 years ago. I lost 85% of my vision in my left eye from the damage. I also broke my left arm which they had to put a metal plate in to repair it an along with that ended up with nerve damage in my left arm, and I’ve been dealing with the pain for the past 11years.
Ask yourself, how much is your eye worth to you? I know I didn’t get nearly what I should’ve gotten. I just love their TV commercials where they advertise people getting a butt load of money and the person is on TV and they look healthy as you know what Whoever you choose to represent, you make sure you go to trial don’t do any settlements they won’t help you get what you should be getting

You are just a number to these people. I trusted them to help me through a very difficult time. They rushed me and didn’t allow me proper medical treatment. I'd like to leave full details, unfortunately I'm unable to do that. This review is regarding the workers comp side... And the assistant or notary that had the audacity to be rude for inconveniencing her, knowing I just got back from court and seeing the driver that killed my husband. And for asking me about it, to be nosey, like it's an acceptable thing to ask about during another highly emotional thing I'd rather not be bawling and unable to focus for. And like i want to discuss it with some random person i just met that was extremely rude for no reason. Supposedly it was addressed, but never should've happened. That's the only part I'm willing to divulge here, the entire experience was a nightmare and i got to absorb a whole lot of legal knowledge i absolutely didn't want to learn while desperately trying to grieve my husband and fight for his justice instead.
I'll probably email my concerns to whoever eventually, but I'm exhausted and sick of fighting.. if yall could have the appropriate person call or email me so i don't have to jump through more hoops, that be cool.

A friend of mine recommended mcdivitt and I made the right choice. I got in a car accident 2 years ago and called them right away. They took care of me the moment I called. Got seen in physical therapy and throughout asked me how I felt. When I felt better and back to normal they fought my case for my personal injury. I didn't see any luck with the result in the settlement but my attorney Chris was transparent and did all he could to get the best out of the case settlement. Nora and Chris were great! WOW it has been one long road. Let me say this if you don’t have a dash cam get one. If I didn’t have mine I would be fitting all my medical bills. I first called Heuser & Heuser law firm biggest mistake the person stated yes they would take my case. I sent my dash cam video of the whole accident to Heuser & Heuser. Well not only having to deal with my pain, my truck wrecked I also had extreme stress dealing with Heuser & Heuser. I had to call them a hundred times to get even any response from them. Weeks went by never receiving any calls from them. Then a month pass I get a letter that they will not represent your case anymore you could imagen the letdown and all the time wasted just to start over. Lucky I didn't stop there I placed a call to McDivitt which should have been my only choice, I sent my dash cam video and they accepted my case. McDivitt setup a doctor’s appointment and the ball was moving within the first week wow what a difference a great law firm makes. Short version a year of therapy and now one year of injections for future pain I thought this would never end. I get the call from Jordan it is settled. I originally posted the five stars because they had a lady in their office hand me a tablet and requested a review right then and there. Reality is, I asked for their help after they assured me my medical bills would be covered and I could possibly come out ahead for pain and suffering. Yes, they got an insurance settlement for me quickly, but then brushed me off telling me I would have better luck getting my medical bills lowered by calling myself, versus them calling the providers. Six months after my car accident, I’m still fighting with the ER bill, which is more than the settlement I received. That doesn’t include the thousands of dollars I’ve already paid for ambulance, ER physician bills, follow up x-ray at an urgent care, chiropractor and radiology reading, or the unpaid week of work I missed as an independent contractor with no benefits. So, 2 stars for the quick settlement and being nice, but I’m left extremely overwhelmed with debt for a car accident that wasn’t my fault.

My father who is over 80 years old was in an accident with a drunk driver who jumped off median, went through grass and over into the next lane and hit my dad's car. He totaled my dads car. The drunk driver did not have any insurance and since my dad did not have full coverage on car Geico was not going to cover anything. My dad's air bags deployed and everything. My girlfriend slipped on ice at a grocery store (starts with a W) and broke her ankle compound fracture style. I went to them with a complaint of my mother being severely neglected and abused by a rehabilitation center. They referred it to one of their branch law offices. The law firm took the case over a year ago. During conversations with McDivitt’s office I asked on several occasions if I had a case. The response was yes! The law office they referred it to would not have taken it if they didn’t feel that I didn’t have a case. So, the law office has my information for over a year when I received a phone call from them (Little Rock, Arkansas) that they were not going to pursue my case any further. In total surprise; I asked why? I was told it was because my mother died of natural causes. I wasn’t going after wrongful death; I was filing for neglect and abuse that my mother suffered from. The rehabilitation center allowed her to go u attended for bathroom use, she was severely malnourished, had a UTI. Bed sores, and was In congestive heart failure when they finally took her to the hospital. The ER DOCTOR stated that my mother was the worst case of neglect they he had seen coming from a rehabilitation facility. Yes, my mother died of natural causes. Probably brought on much sooner due to her not being cared for properly. Septis is what took her at the end. Hmmm…I wonder why? Now this law firm does not want to pursue it not because they said my case didn’t stand merit; they simply were not going to pursue my case any further! Both law firms advertise that they specialize in elder abuse and neglect. Really?? I don’t think so. I don’t have enough to time for another law firm to take this before the statute of limitations runs out, I’ve tried. These lawyers shouldn’t be allowed to drop a case after having it so long and then just drop it at the 11th hour without any concern to hold these facilities accountable for abuse and neglect. So much for their television commercials of elder neglect and bed sores. Sign me disappointed in our law firms and the pursuit for our loved ones to be treated with care, dignity and respect; especially during Covid where I was not allowed in to see my mom for almost a month. Needless to say I’m beyond disappointed.

I called McDivitt law firm about a dispute with the Veterans Affairs which I needed representation for, I explained my situation to a few people and I felt good about it, I delivered the documents they requested and as instructed I waited for them to review the documents and determine if I would be "eligible" for representation or not and thats about as far as it got. I called the attorney a few different times as the final date to appeal approached in order to discuss fees and representation but I was told to keep waiting and that the attorney had never handled a VA case before and wasn't sure how to proceed. That was the last I heard from them, they never called to say I was eligible or not. No money lost but I really felt like I was a nothing and a nobody when I was ready to pay them and get things moving and they didnt even take the time to look at my situation. Lesson learned.

I had a work related injury and was neglected by my employer at the time. I called a few law firms to gather more information about how I can and should proceed. McDivitt seemed the most sincere and caring about my case, luckly for me. I was to countless doctors who worked for the workers comp insurance and they kept saying I was fine, I and everyone I know knew I was not. Working with the team here was a refreshing experience. My Attorney Joe Prieksat and Case Manager Elizabeth kept open communication always asking me how I was doing throughout the recovery process and after. We decided to obtain a Lawyer after we had been in a hit and run accident in Colorado Springs and we had been fighting with our insurance company to get the medical bills Don sustained paid and we were having no luck. Our Attorney that was assigned to us was Christine Lagle. I have to tell you to not be surprised by her as she looks like she is a teenager. She has "spitfire" and she accomplished everything including getting us a settlement, which we did not ask for. The personal injury portion of my case went very smoothly and and quick. It was only when I looked into the workman comp side and started asking questions when things started happening. I just did not have any idea what was going on with the workman comp case. I still don't really know what happened with it just the settlement. All in all it was a decent experience. They are money hungry. If you are involved in a case with them, they don't understand brain injury at all. They find out what the policy is and don't tell you. Good luck talking to an attorney. If a policy can only pay $25000 max. You should have a chance to decide wether you want to go through them or file it yourself. They end up with more than you. You file and get the power to control your funds. My wife has asked several times for a copy of her file. Called many times & gets no response. Like they are hiding something.

Husband and I retained them for his workmans comp claim, 13 months after hiring them Aaron in their office chose to terminated case when my husband told him their service was below par - not one thing accomplished and he even canceled the court date we had out of spite when advised we were looking at changing attorney's -we are now looking at filing charges with AG for possible irregularities in handling the case - worse unprofessional experience possible- literally trying to sue the largest medical dispensary in the city and have a VERY Valid claim but apparently you have to do all the work yourself and then they want to be paid- laziest lawyers in town- and can't even keep people in the office have had 3 different workman comp assistants in last 60 days alone cause they suck their own staff won't stay - MCDIVITT- JUST DON'T BOTHER- PATHETIC HOW SOME PEOPLE HAVE NO PRIDE OR WORK ETHIC :(

Just finished out my case with Joe Prieksat and it couldn’t have gone better. When I first got hit and was in the hospital Joe made the effort to come to my hospital room for the consultation which I’ve never seen anyone do. It’s been a long, over 2 year process with COVID making significant delays however, Joe always was on top of things and always kept me in the loop every step of the way. Thier whole staff was extremely respectful and actually cared about me getting better. This is my second time using McDivitt for an auto accident. First times was 2014-2015 and they assisted me with the best rehab care while I was pregnant and always kept me updated with any new changes. This year 2018 I was in another auto accident and wasn’t receiving the proper care from my physician and they stepped up took my case and made sure I had all the right resources and treatment.
Tom Dwyer is an excellent attorney and takes his job seriously. He keeps you in mind the entire time and will check up on you and is always there when you have questions. I cannot stress this enough: if you have been in an accident, get a lawyer. I had no idea what I was in for when I got rear ended and my car totalled. I did not know that your health insurance will come to you for the money they put out on your injuries. This can get very pricey if you have xrays/MRI/physical therapy /surgery etc. And you don't know what it will cost as the insurance company pressures you to settle.
I worked with Marilyn as my case worker. She was amazing. My case took over a year to settle and she was so understanding and helpful. She kept in constant contact with me and fully explained every step of the process. I can't thank her enough.

After being rear ended in a car accident and reinjuring my neck we chose to come to McDivitt Law Firm. The lawyers that represented my case were great. I would highly recommend McDivitt Law Firm and more specifically attorney Stephen Longo! I slipped and fell on ice leaving a private residence after a baby shower, which caused permanent damage to my elbow, shoulder, and nerve system. Once I realized I could not navigate the legal process on my own, I turned to McDivitt and Mr. Longo. Unfortunately, half way through my slip and fall case, I was rear-ended at a stop light and asked Mr. Longo for his guidance in an under insured motorist case. Mr. Longo is compassionate, competent, and truly wants the best result for his clients. He worked tirelessly on both of my cases and maintained communication with my throughout the entire process. Thank you, Stephen, for all your hard work and dedication to my cases and easing the burden of the daily struggles I will continue to face.

My daughter's husband was killed in a car accident involving a driver who was under the influence of alcohol. We turned to McDivitt Law firm to help us during this time of tragedy for our family. Attorney Stephen Longo was assigned to our case. He was kind, compassionate and worked with the insurance companies when we were emotionally not able to do so. He certainly was able to get a better settlement for my daughter than we would have gotten on our own. I highly recommend both Stephen Longo and the McDivitt Law Firm.

Not bad. They handle 99% of the stuff so i didnt need to go around collecting paperwork, they did it. The case managers are amazing and keep in contact with you. My case lasted 5 years. Unfortunately, when it came time to either settle for pennys or go to court, they decided the case wasnt strong enough for court...after having me spend 20k on experts. If u need a lawyer go with mcdivitt. If you have soft tissue damage and a harder case, go with frank azar.
To quote mike mcdivitt "its not about what you deservd. Its about what we can get, and i only like to gamble on horses."

I am currently a client at McDivitt Law Firm and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking a personal injury attorney. I do not really know anything about personal injury law, but their staff has always been very kind and knowledgeable. All my questions have been answered with such respect. My case is a little different then most, because we were moving a week after my car accident, but even with this challenge of not being in state anymore, McDivitt has been absolutely amazing. There is clear communication and there have never been any problems. I was injured over 2 years ago at work. I contacted McDivitt and they took me on. My case was complicated and they kept on with me. Aaron Kennedy and Kristen Becker have been fantastic!! They continued to fight for me.. and I finally got the compensation that I was owed. And they continue to fight for me as my case continues!! For the past 3 years the McDivitt Law Firm has been a wonderful support to Centennial Elementary's Kindergarten classes. They have purchased supplies and backpacks for every child. For many of our families, this is a huge help! They have also donated their time during field trips and our school carnival and visited with our students during breakfast and lunch on numerous occasions. My students are always excited to see the McDivitt's when they come participate in the classroom whether it be to help with a craft or to read a story. I had a fine attorney and my case manager rocked. I know I am not easy to get along with, but my case manager handled me good. She got me my meds when worker comp would drag their feet. She is the best!
