I would highly recommend this law firm! I worked with Angie Kwik on my worker’s comp case and though the process was long and challenging given my former employer’s resistance, Angie believed in me and my case and was supportive the whole way through. Her commitment to protecting me demonstrates her overall strength and determination in supporting women like me in the workplace who often are dismissed and treated poorly. Angie believed in my case more than I believed in myself at times! Now that the case is behind me, I’m able to fully heal and move forward with my life in ways I didn’t think possible, thanks to Angie’s help. Definitely recommend working with this firm!
I’ve been trying to reach Mehr & Associates in Irvine for over a month with no luck. I did receive one call back from a lady named Susie, but since then, I’ve left several messages and haven’t heard anything back. My stepdad received his settlement check and has been having issues cashing it because he’s undocumented. He’s also very illiterate — he can’t read or write — and I feel like they don’t care or take the time to help clients in situations like his. This lack of communication and compassion is extremely disappointing, especially when people are depending on them for important legal matters.

I would recommend you never go to this place for any kind of workers comp injury. Two years with them. I've had literally six paralegals. In which they never answered any questions or answered any phone calls and or any emails and if they did answer they never had an answer. In two years I've talked to the lawyer maybe three times. And the funny thing is they're paralegal knew more than the lawyer. I literally had to bug the paralegal and the attorney day in and day out to get reimbursed for my travel expenses. If it wasn't for me nothing would've never gotten done. They literally closed my case. I also got my money reduced without anybody telling me anything. These people do not communicate they do not let you know all they care about is their 15%. Highly recommend you stay away from this firm. I had to hire a new lawyer. According to Elham The attorney said they only deal with the medical and nothing else. The worst place ever.

failures on every level, communication great at the beginning but breaks down quickly and then mistakes compoundto the point I had to show up at the office to get in contact, they replaced the main contact every few months and lost track of the where my case progress was at, i was willing to settle for the lowest settlement just to cut ties with this firm. four years wasted with minimal results.
After hiring Mehr & Associates for my own workers comp case, I want to highly suggest you go elsewhere with yours. To start off, I very very rarely ever spoke directly with my lawyers and was mainly talking to case managers who go fired and hired every month, always changing. I had a terrible experience with one of them who because of negligence cost me multiple months of missed temporary disability payments. They never accepted fault for this either. I was also advised to settled my case before trial (and unfortunately did) even though I never got a permanent disability rating from doctors, never reached MMI, and was never even looked at for 2 of the body parts I had injured. A QME doctor suggested I see specialists for all the injuries but my lawyers clearly were too lazy and impatient to go to trial (what they are paid for) and after consulting with other attorneys I found my settlement amount to be much too low compared to what I could’ve gotten if I had hired a competent firm. Learn from my mistake and please go elsewhere.

Angie with Mehr & Associates was amazing. She took my case and got the job done in a very quick amount of time. The whole team answered all my questions as needed and guided me step by step through the entire process. I would use the firm again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend them.

I believe in being totally honest about an attorney. I hired this firm for a work comp case in 2013. I had a work accident that required two spinal fusion surgeries. They were over aggressive with the work comp insurance company and the result was my payments were about to stop. After employing them for a couple months I filed a dismissal of attorney with the workers comp. Sent copies to this law firm. And all involved parties. Now 12 years later I am retired trying to get medical care for my neck as part of my settlement with work comp. I received the copy of my dismissal of attorney from September of 2013 and sent a copy to the work comp insurance company. So I'm able to get medical care now for my neck. If the work comp insurance company thinks you have an attorney they won't talk to you. But this law firm even though I dismissed them. and they could not find it in their records they went and filed a court case. For no reason. And I have a copy of my dismissal of attorney they are not returning my phone calls. All they had to do was return my call and I could have faxed them a copy. I just want to get on with my life and get my medical care for my neck. But these people are standing in the way. Greg Valen. Jurupa Valley California.

Terrible service. They closed my case without my knowledge. Only the doctor notified me that my case had been closed. The doctor they sent me to lied to me the whole time, and in the end, they closed it. I went to another lawyer, and they realized they'd been bribed. It's a shame; they're not what they seem. Liars and completely unprofessional.

I had a great experience working with Mehr and Associates for my workers' comp case. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and responsive, guiding me through every step of the process. Matilde Barrera and team made a stressful situation much easier to handle, and I felt supported the entire time. Highly recommend their services!
This is the most caring firm in the business. I’m a client here and they treat me and my case like royalty. I can’t say enough great things about this firm. You can trust them with fantastic work and positivity. If I can give them a better rating I would!
