Living in Miami can become quite hard to find lawyers In Alabama to represent me and my son in a very intense custody battle with my son’s twin mother because of the fact that she had the babies and later gave them for adoption without my son’s knowledge of the twins existence and without his consent. I called to schedule a consult with Mr. Merrell. I spoke with who I believe may have been his assistant. She was very nice and friendly at the beginning of the call but midway through my explanation her tone and everything changed as if I had said something wrong. She became a little aggressive Midway through me explaining what my situation was she abruptly interrupted and stated she had to conclude the call due to a "conflict of interest" and hung up the phone in my face. I was trying to inquire if there was another attorney, but got hung up on. It's like a light switch that went on and off in 2.5 seconds. I was just trying to get some insight as to if my situation would be a legal matter
