I do not advise contacting this law office for any legal advice. While the attorney is just okay, his office secretary is not professional at all. In dealing with the public you would think that her communication skills would be top tier based on the profession. That was absolutely not the case, she was quite condescending and at one point racially charged. While my mother was officially their client, I would help my mother navigate through this process, so on many occasions I would have to call and speak to either the attorney himself and in most cases the secretary. On one of those phone conversations I told her she should be more professional and not to be so condescending and overtly aggressive and racist, she got angry at what I said and hung the phone up on me. I politely call the attorney back on his line and told him how unprofessional his secretary was and how she hung up on me during my call with her. While he did offer an insincere apology, I knew that I had to accept it as he was still representing my mom and she was waiting on her case to be completed with his office. While my mother was officially his client, both the attorney and his secretary were aware and my mother did authorize me to ask questions that she did not understand and he was okay with. The long and short is as people we should simply respect one another but neither my mother or I should not have to deal with anyone’s disrespect or racism during any interaction let alone during a professional business relationship. It is Sunday March 23rd, 2025 @9:11pm. I have read the attorney’s reply to my initial review and disagree with what he wrote. While I’m not taking away from his competence as a legal professional. I’m disagreeing with how he’s taking up for his incompetent secretary. First off I was not conformational at all. What I’m NEVER going to accept is passive aggressive and racial behavior from ANYONE and as her boss neither should he. But since he wants to side with her and claim that she disconnected the phone because of that, and while it’s not okay. He should also be willing to share that as soon as she unprofessionally disrespected and disconnected the phone call with me, that I contacted him directly and immediately and he immediately apologized for her behavior and if he says otherwise he’s a liar. I spoke with him directly, so if he felt that she was in the right why didn’t he say so when he spoke to me. This makes me believe that maybe he holds the same beliefs that she does. If he does not it certainly doesn’t seem like it, neither here nor there. I have no reason to lie about how I and my mother were treated. Just because the attorney has been practicing in the community for a while doesn’t mean he cannot hold racist, ignorant, and disrespectful beliefs like the secretary that he employs. If the attorney reads this post, I hope that you have the day you deserve.
