Cheryl was more concerned with the courts being too busy than helping me fight a dead beat dad. Multiple times she told me my case would waste the courts time. Meanwhile I’m in financial distress, because my ex husband has decided he will not support his child and moved away, but apparently according to Cheryl still has rights as a father. What about mine and my kids rights, Cheryl?! She left me feeling very discouraged and unsupported.
Cheryl was very quick in understanding our need and she was able to help us with documentation needed very fast. We liked her understanding and fast paced approach. Thank you Cheryl for quick help !
I’m glad I don’t always listen to Google Reviews! I almost decided not to work with Cheryl and her team due to past reviews. But after speaking with her, I really appreciated her efficiency, wisdom and advice. She is frank and doesn’t waste your time. She doesn’t tell you what you want to hear, she tells you what will win your case. In following her advice for her to draft a “love letter” (which was very well-written) to an errant GC who breached a contract, we were able to get a settlement in under two weeks. And we got exactly what we asked for. I also appreciated that she didn’t try to get me to spend more money with her - instead she shifted the expense to the other law firm. She did this on instinct without any prodding from me. I found her team to be super kind and responsive and have no idea why other people have had issues. I would absolutely work with her again and recommend her to my friends. She was incredible and got me my desired outcome more quickly than I would have ever imagined. Thank you, Cheryl! You rock!
Cheryl represented my wife and me in a complex child custody case. She gave outstanding advice and guidance on the mechanics and timing on how to go about rescuing two toddlers from a mildly horrific situation. Her advice was so legally sound and grounded that we had *zero* pushback from the court system and our final custody hearing was a slam dunk.
Cheryl has also been a fantastic legal sounding board of some follow-up matters. We highly recommend her.
If you're a father, absolutely do NOT allow this Traci Fruhwirth to be appointed to your case as a CFI. I am an extremely involved and present father who works almost entirely from home thanks to a flexible job that allowed me to do anything for my children and ex-wife at a moment's notice at almost any time. With that job, I also managed to make enough money to provide for my children and ex-wife in such a way that my ex-wife didn't need to work in order for us to make ends meet. My ex blindsided me by filing for divorce and making a pre-divorce decree that she wanted to relocate with our two young children to the state where she grew up and her parents live - Texas. Thus, an agreed upon CFI had to be appointed to our case. My ex-wife (who has a Master's Degree) is licensed in the state of Colorado for her vocation but is not licensed in Texas, which means she would have no legitimate way to earn an income for months after relocating to Texas. Furthermore, her earning potential in Texas is only two-thirds of the potential Colorado. The only support in Texas for my ex and the children would have been my ex-mother-in-law. Meanwhile, my children have lived in Colorado their entire lives, are established in their community here in Colorado (school, sports, friends, extra-curriculars) and my helpful and involved parents live just 25 minutes away. In Traci Fruhwirth's report (which was late and contained inaccuracies), she mentions repeatedly what a detriment it would be for the children to have to relocate to Texas. In spite of these FACTS, Traci's ultimate recommendation was that, if my ex chose to relocate, she should be granted primary parenting rights and the children were to relocate with her. With that, any and all hope of settling the case in mediation went out the window. TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in attorney fees and 5 months later, the judge read the facts of the case, pulled both attorneys into his chambers, told my ex's attorney that relocation was not going to happen, and told both attorneys that we should figure it out from there. Finally, we were able to make genuine attempts at settlement that SHOULD have taken place months ago, and ultimately settled the case in the hallways of the courthouse. Had Traci Fruhwirth's recommendations been anywhere in line with the body of her report and in the children's best interest, we could have settled our case months earlier and save ourselves (and ultimately our children) nearly $50,000. Shame on you, Traci.
Cheryl is a fabulous attorney with great recommendations, tons of experience, and extremely helpful. She's great at looking at all angels of a situation and the different outcomes that are possible. I highly recommend Cheryl for any attorney needs. You won't be disappointed.
Not happy with the court presentation, lack of evidence that was provided to the judge,no show on the last day ,not even a phone call to follow up. Now if i have a question about the outcome Cheryl is unavailable and you are no longer a client. Stay away from this firm.
Cheryl is unprofessional and rude.
If you want a Lawyer who wants to take the path of least resistance in a Divorce, choose Cheryl. If you want someone who is going to provide appropriate Legal representation and work on behalf of their client... not against them, choose someone else.
Cheryl would email proposals from the other Attorney and plainly state "What's your response?". She wouldn't give any legal direction or act like she cared for the needs of her client. When asked what her legal argument would be if the case went to Court, she became rude and decided we should part ways.
After speaking with several other divorce attorneys, they all agreed that we weren't asking for anything unreasonable and offered to take our case.
Incredibly disappointed with Cheryl's representation and I wouldn't recommend her for any Divorce. It was a waste of time and money selecting her to Represent our case.
* HIGHLY RECOMMEND
If you retain the Law Firm of “Mulvihill and Fruhwirth,” You may note why I rated Them so Highly.

Mrs Cheryl Mulvihill was extremely pleasant to work with. She provided all the legal answers and solution to our issue, and on a timely bases.
Highly recommend her.
From the onset I could hear an attitude in cheryls voice and I knew she was going to be an issue. Tried to deal with here through my legal plan, she tried to charge me a deposit for work that was already paid for. Then threw a fit when I questioned the need for the deposit.
Just about the most unprofessional and unpleasant person I have almost ever paid to do work for me.
She did refund the deposit after she sent a letter to me stating we weren’t compatible for representation. Find another lawyer....
