Roland Mumford has been amazing to work with! He is very straightforward which I respect and appreciate. My case isn’t finished yet, but he’s already made the whole process so much less stressful. I never feel rushed or brushed off, he genuinely listens. I’m really grateful for how supportive he’s been so far, and I feel totally confident with him handling my case.

Mr. Mumford is plaintiff's attorney in my recently filed case in U.S. court against a Lumpkin County, GA, sheriff's deputy for constitutional rights violations. After hiring 4 local area attorneys, including those who blatantly protected the Lumpkin County, GA, Sheriff's Office to my detriment, Mr. Mumford's honesty, competence and concern are a breath of fresh air. While it's not possible to accurately predict the outcome of any case presented to a jury, we have no doubt Mr. Mumford is the "right attorney" to help us pursue justice.

Currently being represented by Mr. Roland
Felt the need to give people my honest opinion.
Roland is very thorough. He is very keen on the corruption within Police departments/sheriff/district attorney covering up evidence. These cases take time and he has the patience to deal with these issues.
If you need a lawyer you don’t have to question if he’s representing you or the other side this is your man. He has not fallen to the dark side.. He will be representing you and your interest.
I have definitely recommended him to others.
So far things have been moving very smoothly and I am impressed. I will keep people posted on further progress. Thank you for letting me share my opinion

My experience with this attorney was not what I hoped for. In my initial conversations with him, his demeanor came across as rude and unnecessarily aggressive. While he may view his style as “direct,” there is a clear difference between being straightforward and being abrasive, and I felt that distinction was not respected. As someone who just experienced a personal loss of a family member, As well, as attempting to juggle this legal manner. I often not find comfort in our interactions.
Despite several family members and others advising me not to proceed, I chose to give him a fair chance because I try not to judge anyone based solely on first impressions. Looking back, I should have trusted my instincts.
At one point, I mentioned the name of the law firm I would be moving forward with, but only in a general sense. Rather than verifying the details with me, he sent private information to an entirely different law firm with the same last name. This happened because he assumed it was the local firm instead of confirming which firm I meant. That kind of presumptive action felt careless and unnecessary.
I would strongly advise potential clients not to rely on my experience alone.
Please schedule and pay for your own, and decide for yourself. I paid in full for mine, so my review has nothing to do with fees, despite how often he references money in his responses to other reviews. His replies to clients or perspective clients and others publicly, often come across as curt or dismissive.
Communication throughout my experience was inconsistent. I had to resend information and remind him of evidence I had already provided. This did not build confidence in his commitment or ability to manage my case. Ultimately, he declined further representation after I expressed my honest thoughts And shared that my case did not have merit in which she felt would be winnable. I respect his decision as he is an attorney and that is his field and his choice, this review is not because of that.
While he may frame his decision as based on legal reasons, from my perspective it seemed connected to personal comfort and emotional responses. Everyone has their own style, but in my situation, I did not feel supported in a professional or steady way. And honestly, throughout the process, I was constantly questioning my decision to move forward with his practice.
Still, every person’s experience may differ. If you do decide to work with him, I genuinely hope it is a better experience than mine, because dealing with these personality dynamics while managing a legal matter can be very disheartening.
However, I do wish him well in his personal matters and in his life. Just speaking on my experience alone.

Attorney client privilege prevents me from discussing other facts to rebut this defamatory and false post. This review was posted after requesting a fee. If you review all my positive posts those are actual clients that we represented through full litigation. The negative posts here are not clients and rather are people that retaliate with negative reviews because we did not take their case or wanted a free consultation and refused to pay our consultation fee. This was a limited client experience and I am very honest and direct about my opinions about people's cases and tell you like it is. It is unfortunate that google allows such posts knowing attorneys cannot defend themselves due to issues of privilege and confidentiality. This was not a full attorney client relationship with litigation or a long tenured relationship. All the five star reviews you read on here were from actual long term clients. The statement about resending documents is a false statement.

I couldn't ask for a better lawyer. If you're looking for an lawyer that knows the law, look no further. The worst part is that he can't be divided in to a hundred pieces to help everyone. So if you have been wronged, know that you are looking at someone that can make it right.
I’ve had a great experience working with Roland at this law firm. When I was searching for an attorney and facing a deadline, Roland responded to my inquiry promptly. He provided me with detailed information about the pros and cons of my case and was completely transparent, ensuring I understood all aspects. Since taking on my case, Roland has been consistently responsive, answering any questions I have in a timely manner. He takes the time to clearly explain the process and what everything means. Roland is not only knowledgeable and professional but also courteous and approachable. I highly recommend his services.

My wife and I had a situation. Were a lawyer is required. We talk to multiple lawyers about our situation. Most stated they was to busy. Others stated that we didn't have a case. Yet, most of them didn't look at the evidence. Mr. Mumford looked at the evidence we had with an open mind. He also spend 2 hours on a zoom call with us to discuss our case. Then took time out of his schedule to actually meet us. Not to discuss our case per say. But to get to know us for who are. We are very glad to have someone take our case. That's actually understands how serious it really is! We are just getting started. Hopefully it will be resolved in our favor.

Roland is a great attorney. He has taken two of my cases. One being employment and the other being personal injury. Just trust him and he will give you great legal advice and guidance.

Mr. Mumford has been very communicative with me as well as very diligent for my case. My case is very unique with a lot of unknown variables. He is very knowledgeable, very patient and trusting. I would recommend him to friends and family. He doesn’t beat around the bush, if he doesn’t know the answer to a question he doesn’t pretend to know, he is forthcoming and tells you he will find out. Great attorney to have behind you.

I'm not rating 1 star because of any service he offered me, I'm rating 1 star because he is arguably the rudest, most unprofessional lawyer I've ever spoken to on the phone. I'm not listing who I am or what I called for because A. I've read your replies to other reviews. Prior to me talking to you, I believed your replies. After talking to you, I believe the original review posters. B. I want this review to stick, without a reply by you brushing it off.
As it has been a few weeks since our conversation, I feel I can finally post a review without a blase, reviewer blame laying response from you.
First off, here's a tip, when you answer the phone, do not aggressively ask "how did you get my number" as your greeting. 99% of the time, just venture to guess the person calling got your number online. You run a business, that is posted online, not a huge leap or assumption. Secondly, when someone is telling you what they are going through, afford them more than 5 seconds of speaking before you cut them off and state you can't help them. Lastly, I would advise you don't end the phone call in the middle of the potential client talking.
I wish yoh well

Many law firms ask how you learn about their law firm as they want to know for marketing purposes and they make decisions about what marketing is working. You seem to be offended by my screening questions. I have to qualify every phone call with certain questions because if you cannot provide facts to meet those first questions in the affirmative then your narrative or telling me life story is not relevant. I cannot listen to the complete narrative of every person that calls me if we cannot get past the first few questions. Those first few questions are elements that are necessary for law suit. If its an employment call i have to determine if the company has more than 15 employees and what type of discrimination it is first. Otherwise it does not matter what the narrative is you give me. Cannot file a lawsuit unless first elements are met. If I had to listen to every person's narrative or life story then that would take up hafl my day with the number of phone calls I get. I am a direct person and have a direct personality and unfortunately you confuse that with being rude. I dont recall speaking with you or what your case is about but I screen every call for the nature of the case. You cannot assume that you can dictate the way a phone call occurs with a lawyer. We have to be effecient with our time. If someone calls me and tells me they cannot determine what kind discrimination their story is such race or gender or religions or disability then the call cannot proceed. I am sorry you dont understand this. I understand perhaps you feel like I did not listen to your story but if I did not do so its because you could not provide me any information to meet the first elements I have to screen for. I have to end a call when I have clearly determined that I cannot help you as there are no facts to meet the legal elements of a call. I cannot continue to listen to a call. I suggest you pay for a consultation fee if you want to control the call. There are people that call a law office and feel entitled to a never ending consultation. You clearly did not have a case if I had to end the call but yet you wanted to continue the call for no purpose.
We could not take this persons case and he retaliates with a negative review. This is common against attorneys now and Google needs to stop allowing this defamation. We cannot help every person that calls.
Roland has been professional, timely and honest since the day we first spoke. He made time to get to know me as a person and communicates directly and efficiently. I would recommend Roland for your needs in the Savannah area.

Mr Roland took my case after I felt like I was wrongfully terminated from my job. He worked very hard and diligently on my case. He worked on my case for over a year before my case was settled and I felt like he handle my case very professional and got it resolved. I would recommend Mr Roland to anybody who has felt like they have been wrongfully terminated.
