My sisters and I retained Mr. Changose, aka “Goose” to open an ancillary probate for our stepmother, file affidavits of heirship for her brother’s daughters and update and transfer the deed on a parcel of land that has been in the family since 1937 or earlier with no update since that time. It was tedious and time consuming, but he handled it all with ease and kept us informed and gave clear instructions regarding all of the numerous documents. We highly recommend him!

I do not recommend William “Goose” Changose based on my experience involving a family trust matter. In our case, he failed to follow the clear instructions of the competent settlor and trustee, declined to draft requested amendments, and appeared to favor the interests of one beneficiary over another. This conduct caused significant concern and loss of trust in his professional judgment and independence. Based on our experience, I would urge anyone considering his services to proceed with caution and to carefully document all communications.

Hired Bill Godbold in January of 2025 for a demand letter (unpaid wages). Expressed concern that a mechanic's lien would likely be needed and that from my understanding, it needed to be filed in Arkansas within 120 days of the work being done. I was charged upfront for the demand letter along with an additional amount for a retainer. The demand letter was supposedly sent roughly 2 months later, but was unsuccessful. Found this out March 7th. Exchanged feedback, under the impression things were moving forward with mechanic's lien. Gave Bill over a month to get back to me (April 14th), but no response. Sent another follow up email (May 29th), but no response. The timeframe for filing a mechanic's lien has now expired and this firm is still holding onto my retainer. I basically spent $500 to not get paid the money I'm owed and to lose the chance to file a mechanic's lien. Incompetence and theft. Absolutely useless firm.

Couldn't be more pleased with the way Goose handled our legal process. Everything was done by email and text messaging. If you want your legal issue taken care of quickly and efficiently he is your man.
