Northwest Elder Law initially did our wills and other documents in 2018. When we decided to update our will recently, we knew we wanted to go back to them. Rebecca King took our questions and requests for updates seriously and patiently. We just went in and signed our new wills which have updated language to protect our wishes even if the Supreme Court ever invalidates our marriage.

My disabled brother had an IRA at an investment firm that refused to honor my Power of Attorney to access his account. Rebecca King and her team were able to send a letter explaining Washington law and advising them of further legal action. The investment firm promptly reversed their stance and honored my POA so I was able to maintain my brother's account on his behalf. Rebecca and her team were professional, prompt, and responsive. And they got results!

Julia and her team were incredible to deal with, as our step father neared the end of his life. It was a very complicated situation, his girlfriend was changing his will, health care directives, abusing the workers at his AFH, and trying to subjecting him to surgeries his doctors said he would never survive. She not only helped us navigate these complex waters, but she jumped right into them, and really saved the situation, allowing him to die as he originally wanted, and not what his lunatic girlfriend wanted. Her team was also so helpful - sending documents, walking us through them, and being generally supportive. Highly recommended in any VAPO and Estate matters. Highly.
