I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to here. Stay away from attorney Jeanine Vhan! The firm is VERY unresponsive. Several weeks will go by before they respond to the status of your case. Their canned response is they are working other deadlines.
Several documents that were prepared for my case were rushed, late / last minute and full of spelling, grammar, content, mathematical and procedural errors.
One document prepared for me even had a breach of client confidentiality by having another client’s name on the document.
My case fell apart because the opposing party wouldn’t negotiate on a $65,000 error the firm caused by having a formula error in their spreadsheet used to determine separation of assets.
To be fair, the firm did give me some discounts on the billing, but I would have rather paid full price for high quality work, rather than discounted mediocre work that had so many pertinent errors.
I asked the firm to send several settlement offers to the opposing party, which Jeanine never sent.
When my case became really de-railed, Jeanine filed to withdraw and abandoned me at my lowest point rather than fight and be an advocate for their client, and clean up some of the mess they made.
I had to move to another firm and basically starting over after being represented by Jeanine for more than 16 months in a prolonged case, wasting several tens of thousands dollars. The new firm commented how unorganized they received my files.
Jeanine has clearly too many clients to give dedicated, organized customer service for a client who is probably going through the worst chapter of their life.
I filed MULTIPLE formal complaints and provided documentary evidence to the WSBA and the Washington State Supreme Court, among other oversight bodies about EXTREME abusive litigation conduct by Nunn Vhan & Lang, PLLC ("former" attorney Ashleigh Holmes). I have preserved billing records and correspondence that show harassment (of me) and even worse. I submitted as exhibits to the firm management and Washington State "oversight" that have done nothing. I will continue to pursue oversight and legal remedies until this is addressed.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional guardian ad litem (GAL) service provided by Leslie Gilbertson during my recent custody case. The thorough investigation she conducted into parenting matters and domestic violence was impressive and deeply appreciated. From the outset, Ms. Gilbertson approached a situation that was inherently stressful and re-traumatizing with a level of professionalism that mitigated harm. She remained impartial throughout the process, which is crucial in such sensitive matters. It was particularly validating to hear her articulate her findings at trial, emphasizing the importance of ensuring my child's safety. Her commitment to standing up for the best interests of my child was evident, and I am grateful for her investigation during this challenging time. Therefore, I wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Gilbertson to anyone in need of a dedicated GAL professional in similar circumstances.
Andrea lang and he's team are amazing! I had a long road ahead of me. I was lost and in way over my head. As soon as Andrea stepped in, he made me feel at ease. Every time I called with a question, his team of incredible paralegals always had an answer for me. Every time I had a court hearing, I was anxious and very uncomfortable. Andrea always had calming words and always made sure I was doing okay. No one enjoys going to court for any reason but he went above and beyond what I was expecting from a family law attorney. Thanks to him and his staff, my family is safe and everyone is happy. A huge weight is off my shoulders. I could not have done it without Andrea Lang and his team. I can't thank you all enough!!!
Leslie Gilbertson and team are stars! Thank you for taking this case on and steering it in the direction you did. Leslie picked out the essential issues around visitation and addressed the fundamental reality of where our grandson lives, has lived and will continue to live. Her presentation of each point in your argument was superb!
Dropped a huge retainer and we have not had a single filing completed in time for my family’s case with Leslie Gilberston specifically. Communication is massively lacking. I’m charged for every time I email or call for an update that I don’t get. Be wary when they say they have the capacity for your case and expect to be your own advocate with the courts if you choose this firm, especially if it is family law.
I would NEVER recommend using Leslie Gilbertson!
The communication with her and her assistant was terrible, taking over a week to respond to an email and never available to take a call or wouldn't return a message.
It took over 4 months for her to file court documents. All background checks required, were done before coming to her, all she had to do was file the paperwork. Poor follow up on service filed, delaying yet again.
It took her 3 months to even touch the case, each time I inquired on the progress, I was told she was in court. I should have been informed upon hiring her, that she was backed up, I would have chosen another attorney.
I should have listened to her bad reviews, I often read them and take them as a grain of salt, lesson learned!
HORRIBLE experience!
Wish I could fit all the details of why everyone should steer clear of this firm, but sadly, there’s just too much! Learn from my misfortune and don’t trust them with a penny of your money or a second of your time.
Nunn Vhan & Lang, PLLC has been the great to work with, as my concerns were immediately taken into consideration, and handled accordingly. It was an extremely emotional and exhausting time for me, but it was comforting to start off the attorney/client relationship knowing that your attorney "genuinely" cares about their clients from the very beginning. This is exactly what I got from Andre right from the start.
I would definitely recommend Nunn, Lang & Phan. I simply could not have gotten through the lowest of lows without Andre being right there assuring me, being transparent, and making certain I knew what to expect from start to finish.
Andre, for everything you did, everything you gave, and everything you had to do to keep 'me' focused, and on target, reminding me the "one" thing that mattered the most to me: And for that, Thank you to the moon and back. Thank you so very much. Top notch!
