My husband and I had the unfortunate luck of working with Hayley Graff for a case involving my husbands parenting agreement with his ex for his rights pertaining to my stepdaughter. The parenting agreement and subsequent case led by Hayley was so poorly done that we’ve had to hire a different lawyer to clean up her mess. She consistently talked us out of the directions we wanted to take to protect my stepdaughter, and as such we are now spending more than double what it should have cost us originally to fix the original parenting agreement. She was also often defensive when we brought up our goals regarding the case being different from hers (such as her outright laughing at my husband when he requested a guardian ad litem half way through our case) as well as incredibly dismissive of our concerns for our daughter’s life with her birth mother, which has now put our stepdaughter in danger as this case is still continuing despite Hayley’s “best efforts”. Throughout the duration of our eight months of using Hayley’s services, twice she went on vacation without giving me or my husband prior notice or instructions of what to do should we need emergency legal counsel, leaving us without any form of communication for over two weeks both times. During that time, the firm was incredibly difficult to get ahold of, and both Hayley and her paralegal consistently acted annoyed by myself or my husband contacting them via multiple emails after no responses, despite this being why we paid them a GENEROUS retainer and subsequent fees for. Overall, we found Hayley and everyone we came in contact with at this firm to be dismissive, unprofessional, and wholly disappointing. I would run FAR in the opposite direction before hiring them for anything related to family law, as you may end up paying a different attorney more to clean up the mess created by Hayley and this firm later.
Everyone we worked with was great, very on top of things and very attentive. They even helped to accommodate a closing after business hours on a Friday due to the buyers funding issues.
I have a hard time believing Doug's review, I don't know where my son would be if not for Anna and all fighting for him. The system is geared against fathers, mothers can file any false charges with no repercussions. The court system allowed my son's mother to abuse him for 4years while the GALs fought and fought. I made it difficult for them at times due to the stress of false accusations that the court wanted to listen to even though the DCFS(they realized the mother is sick )multiple police departments(none would prosecute the mother for her dozens of false allegations). Anna and associates kept fighting, I will never be able to repay them.
Tom, Dee, Brennan and team were great to work with. They definitely made our real estate transaction run smoothly and communication was great. Would happily use for future transactions.
Tom, Haley, and Dee are an absolutely expectional real estate legal team! Every step of the way from selling our condo to buying our home was seamless. There was consistent communication, and we always felt confident that the team was going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. You can't go wrong with having Tom Rhodes as your attorney because he truly has your best interest in mind! We will be recommending them to all our friends and family, and will absolutely use them again if we ever need a real estate attorney! Thank you Tom, Haley, and Dee!
Terrible work. Used Meghan Troc previously and was happy there. But Bob on the other hand. Cracker Jack boxes come with better legal. Bob dragged my case out for over a year and half when I begged and pleaded for it to go to trial over many many emails, calls, calls to secretaries and so on. He won’t fight for you when a parent files false murder accusations against you even when an actual dcfs rep and local police are willing to testify that it was filed with malicious intent. He won’t fight for your child if they are alienated too mentally devastating points either. If you have concrete evidence of perjury he won’t show it as evidence either. Just seems like he wants money and then to smile at ya and stick his secretaries out there to deal with it. I put a lot of faith into this firm and was let down just two weeks before the most important trial my son could have. I wouldn’t recommend for any family court cases.
Tom Rhodes was fantastic to work with! From the time of my referral to Tom, through the end of my closing, he was there every step of the way to ensure all went well and the transaction was as smooth as possible (during an extremely busy time for the real estate market). 5 stars from me!
I recently closed on a home and Thomas Rhodes of O'Dekirk, Allred and Associates was of invaluable help during the process. The terms of my "final disclosure" for closing initially included invented and inflated figures - costs that I could never have known about - and he called them out and went to bat for us in an incredibly professional and assertive way. He got the costs lowered significantly. I highly, highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home who wants to be sure their interests are being protected. In addition to all this, he's a great guy.
Our Realtor recommended Attorney Nicholas Jaworski to assist us in handling the short sale of our home with an extremely difficult mortgagor. He alleviated much of the stress involved with this transaction by staying on top of the mortgage company, keeping a cool head when we were at our wit's end, and keeping us well informed throughout the process. We found Nick to be not only highly competent and professional, but also very personable and relatable. If you are buying or selling real estate in the Greater Chicago area, I highly recommend Nick Jaworski of O'Dekirk, Allred & Associated LLC.
