A 65 yo disabled man who literally DORS NOT UNDERSTAND ANY OF THIS is being displaced from his home due to a forced auction in 17 days by partition, when it should've been handled under the Heirs Act (inherited half from his sister), when no appraisal has been completed (ignoring state regulations, the judge flippantly said she'd just set the value at $150k when the value is nearly double that... with the waive of her wrist and swing of a gavel). We called to see if an estate attorney could help or point in the right direction. The girl who answered goes, "i can give you a website and you just type in what you're looking for. We don't handle those kinds of cases." I'm sorry... what? Your website extensively talks about estate planning... if this isn't estate stuff...I don't know what would be. Her response (brace yourself), "Oh. There's an $80 consultation fee and must be paid before you can speak to an attorney." I'm sorry... what? So I responded, "Excuse me. I'm not even sure you understand what I'm talking about because you just said you don't handle this and now you want me to pay you before someone (with intelligence) can tell me of they can help this [65 year old, disabled] man." She said, "Thank you" and hung up on me. Tell me... CAUSE OMG... it's this person representative of your lawyers? I hope your calls are recorded. This happened 2/23/26 at 10:58 am. She needs to be fired. I mean...I have an MBA and I'm looking... call me. I promise you can do better than whomever that woman is for probably minimum wage. Or just very AI. It wouldn't have said that as an estate planners you don't handle estate planning. Being intelligent in this day and she is truly painful.
I needed representation in a divorce as well as help getting guardianship of a minor. Keisha Hazelwood at OMG Law was referred to me from a family member. She represented me in both matters and had very successful outcomes each time. She worked very quickly and got me emergency, temporary, and soon after permanent guardianship of a minor. In my divorce, she made it a very easy and quick process with the results I wanted. I couldn't ask for better representation and guidance through 2 very difficult life changes. I was very happy and satisfied with her work and should I need it again in the future, she will be my first call!
I used Clarke Mixon and he was a total creep, asking me if I was Catholic and about my sex life. I called to ask about another attorney for a different matter and the secretary had no idea what she was talking about. She stated I needed to live near the office even though the court is near them. It’s sad they have to lower their consult fee to $80 to try to get more clients and are still pathetic. The firm operates within Arkansas and has a secretary who has not been properly trained.
An attorney from another firm wasn’t supposed to tell me about Clarke but she said he totally dropped the ball and was a terrible attorney.
Owner response
I am sorry that you had a bad experience with our law firm. Please feel free to email me at lowens@omglawfirm.com if I can be of assistance to you.
I just came here to say I seen a nasty review from a woman named Savannah calling Clark a creep. Well I went and looked at some of her other reviews and it seems to me she is a troublesome client around town leaving awful reviews not only to lawyers but to other places as well. That leads me to say my brother used Clark to gain full custody of my nephew many years ago and he is a wonderful man! Everyone else I have spoken to will tell you the exact same thing. I will be using him for my needs in the future as well. So to the people reading this don’t listen to that hateful person. That man is not a creep. He was probably saying her those things as they were more than likely related to the reason she was there. No good lawyer that cared about his name, business, and career would risk that by asking inappropriate questions that didn’t pertain to the services the individual was needing.
Owner response
Thank you for setting the record straight. You are absolutely right, he is one of the best men I know. He is also one of the best lawyers in the state. There is too much hate in this world.
After 38 years of marriage, I found myself needing a good divorce lawyer. I chose OMG because it was local and they quickly set up a meeting with Keisha Hazelwood to get the process started. The law firm analyzed my situation and developed a plan of action. Due to delay from opposing counsel, the entire process took 13 months. My attorney and legal aid stayed on top of the pending needs and coordinated all the transfer of money, vehicles, and property. My attorney represented me in court for an uncontested divorce. I am so thankful to have an attorney that listened to my needs, guided me, and represented me in court. Life is beginning to get a lot better now.
Clarke Mixon was unprofessional and made horrible accusations about me and my spouse. He didn’t listen to anything I wanted and was overall dismissive towards me. I would NOT recommend Clarke Mixon to anyone.
Thank you for all your help with my divorce. My life can finally begin now because of Keisha Hazelwood. She was very professional and kind. Keisha's assistant Sydney was very helpful and cared. Thank you OMG law firm.
I cannot say enough good things about Lance Owens & the OMG law firm. He is a remarkable attorney - knowledgeable, professional & very kind. He handled two difficult family situations for us & both times, he was in our corner all the way. Often times I needed clarification for my own peace of mind & he provided that. He never left us out of the loop & whether it was an email or a phone call, he stayed in contact with us. His staff are good bunch of folks, warm & down to earth. I wholeheartedly recommend Lance & his team.
Keisha is Awesome! We have used her twice and she has never lets us down. She is very good at what she does. She is very straight forward. She will sit down with you and educate on the options you have. She has a great assistant. Sydney is great also! Thank you so much. Appreciate you both.
Everything was handled in a professional and timely manner. They will definitely get any of my business in the future. I had an issue collecting a life insurance policy my mother in law left to my minor child and they took car of it with no issues.
I contacted Ms. Hazelwood when my ex-husband had me served with a motion which would have required me to put my six year old son on a plane by himself to Kazakhstan to visit his father each summer. Ms. Keisha Hazelwood did not hesitate to represent me. Ultimately the judge ruled in our favor thanks to her unwavering support and expertise. My son is now safe from international travel and his father can visit when he is in the U.S. I cannot thank Ms. Hazelwood enough for giving my life peace again with the knowledge my son will remain safely within U.S. borders. I would recommend the OMG Law Firm and specifically Ms. Hazelwood for any family law issues.
