Erik Berger at Osterhout Berger Daley is a wonderful attorney!!!
I struggle with several disabling conditions that have made me unable to work. Erik helped me file for group benefits as well as a private policy I had and walked through every step with me. This process would have been completely overwhelming without him. I've had many questions and he is always responsive and patient. With his help, each policy approved my claim on the first try. I've been receiving benefits for three years now and each time they do a review, Erik has helped me through it. I've never had an interruption in my benefits. My family and I are so grateful to Erik and his team.
Update: Erik helped me file for SSDI and has worked with me through the hearing, which took place last week. Yesterday, I received my approval!! These processes are so complex, confusing and time consuming. But with Erik's help, the process went as smoothly as it could. I am so grateful that now I will also receive SSDI, thanks to Erik's help.
If you are struggling with a health condition and need to stop working and file for disability, don't do it alone. I highly recommend giving Erik a call and getting his help. I couldn't have done this without him.

I live in Memphis, TN and was in search of a lawyer for representation for obtaining Long Term Disability for my chronic spinal degenerative disorder. My husband and I applied for Long Term Disability and was initially denied. Once realizing that i needed a lawyer to represent me in submitting an appeal, I started looking for a local attorney to take on my appeal case. This was my first time retaining a lawyer. I was unable to find a lawyer in Memphis that handles Long Term Disability. Thankfully, one of the legal firms I reached out to referred me to Mr. Erik Berger and his qualified team (Heather Bass, Jessica Kitchen) in Jacksonville, FL for legal counsel. Mr. Berger and his friendly, qualified, professional team quickly responded to me to discuss my legal needs. Mr. Berger called and spoke to me and my husband in detail regarding seeking an acceptable Long Term Disability . Mr. Berger also educated us on the importance of obtaining Social Security Disability, concurrent with filing for Long Term Disability . Mr. Berger and his team made the entire process less stressful, complicated and burdensome to me as his client. I am very fortunate to have been referred to Mr. Berger and his outstanding team. As a client, I am extremely satisfied and grateful to Mr. Berger and his practice for their expertise, endurance, professionalism and commitment in obtaining approval for Social Security Disability and a generous agreed upon Long Term Disability amount. With the client’s consent, Mr. Berger negotiates with a sizable counter offer. I highly recommend Mr. Berger for representation of Social Security Disability and/or Long Term Disability.
Very “ happy” and “ satisfied “ client. Highly recommended.

I'm on the last ditch attempt to appeal at the district court level (I've been on SSDI since 2010, never had a problem with ssdi reviews until I moved to florida)... More than one person recommended this firm to help me with this. So I called, the lady was really nice told me I needed to upload my denial letters... Well I did that, and even uploaded my entire social security case file PDF so anybody that knew what pages to look on would know it's an easy win and I've been railroaded through the entire appeals process by social security and their "doctors", nobody would represent me in my administrative court date, nobody would represent me through the appeals counsel, and now the most recommended attorney just called me back and said "sorry, we can't represent you at this time" and hung up without clarifying anything further. Can't even tell a person why? Really? I guess I just give up and will start over from scratch with Quikaid (ironically one of the company/firms that recommended this firm)
Like, cool thanks for absolutely nothing I guess. All I need is to get my case back down to the administrative level by the district judge and have some damn representation.
Would not hire them to settle a rock paper scissors disagreement
