Ben was very knowledgeable and very helpful on my steps necessary to establish my business from ground up and steps to take to make sure coverage is adequate for said business, would definitely recommend to anyone interested in starting a business to seek attorney help with “outside chief legal “ team Ben Karns !

I paid $400 for a Strategy Session with Outside Chief Legal (Jordan Gerheimer’s firm) and submitted a detailed, evidence-backed wrongful termination and defamation case — clearly within their listed services. Their response? A vague email saying they won’t take my case, no explanation, no questions, just a refund — which I had to chase multiple times. Their $2,100 upfront retainer made no sense for a straightforward settlement case, and my suggested alternatives were ignored. They even referred me to a retiring attorney not taking clients and never followed up. Honestly, they only want easy, cookie-cutter cases. Any case that takes actual review or flexibility? Forget it. You’ll get your refund if they refuse your case — but don’t expect professionalism, integrity, or initiative. Lazy. Dismissive. Polished on the outside, careless underneath. Also at-will termination doesn't protect employers from defamation and retaliation(you can sue for defamation and retaliation!) you may have experienced like I have. If you can't find an attorney who will take your case, Go Pro Se.

After reviewing your materials and discussing the case internally, we determined that it was not a type of matter our firm could effectively pursue.<br><br>Because your time is valuable, we cancelled the session, immediately refunded your Strategy Session fee in full, and referred you to other attorneys whose practices focus on your type of case. <br><br>We understand you may disagree with our assessment, but we wish you the very best in finding counsel who is the right fit for your needs.
